    That scene was pure tokenism. They are quite happy to show sexual discrimination, but pretend that blacks and whites lived in racial harmony. I suppose the same tolerance was shown to gays?

    They've been riding donkeys on the beach at Brighton since 1945, only banned it last year. Seems abusing the poor old donkey previously was OK. As the song says "before you accuse me take a look at yourself"

    Never forgave myself for watching a bullfight in Spain or buying a leopard skin in Uganda, but it was a different world then and we live and learn.

    Watched first episode last night, but showing a black family living opposite where the chemist was living? In the 1950's US, I doubt it. The show is mildly entertaining, not sure it deserves the high score it gets.

    There's so many to chose from now, Accuradio, Radio Paradise etc, all have the choice of any music style, genre or decade you want.

    Just bought a Ugreen Bluetooth receiver so now I can play internet radio through my old stereo. Has opened a world of endless music, particularly Jango Radio.

    If I'm streaming music from YouTube or internet radio, is the sound from my speakers in stereo or mono?

    I plugged the cheapie I bought into the USB port on the stereo, so not sure where I should connect to get power.

    I prefer not to have a cable running 4 metres across the floor to the stereo. My PC has Bluetooth, my 10 year old stereo doesn't.

    Tried one of those couldn't get the PC to pair with it.

    Not quite as simple as that when you're elderly and lived here for a number of years and have long term relationships and a house here. Maybe discourage some newbies though.

    They also introduced that form to return after 3 months of getting your retirement extension. The one that shows you still have the 800K in the bank. I've chosen to ignore that one as there is no record of having returned it anyway.
