Just rang them again, they know we cancelled 6 months ago, said not to worry about it, they will disconnect when they get around to it, and we will not be asked to pay 1 satang for the extra service. So, my conscience is clear.

We advised them twice, and they acknowledged the cancellation. AFAIK you can't pay by the month or even enter into an agreement without a contact. I know with 3BB we have a contract for internet, guaranteed if I didn't make the monthly payment the service would be stopped and we'd be asked to pay for the time remaining on the contract.

....it's never been disconnected. We told them when they sent out the new contract that we wished to cancel and then again after another month rang them and told them to disconnect, but they never did. Never had any kind of bill from them so either, so I guess just leave it up to them, or is that dishonest?

I don't get ads when I view YouTube on my tablet or PC, but I get plenty when I watch it on the Android Smart TV.

Obituary. Really enjoying this 6 part Irish mini series. Probably described as a black comedy. Gets an 8.1 on IMDB, but only one review. Available on TG.

We bought what was called a "show house" about 13 years ago and every room is wallpapered, and very good quality paper. However in places it's starting to look a bit shabby, peeling etc. I actually removed the paper on a couple of walls in the bedroom, and it was a pain to do. I wet the paper down first, but even after doing that it wasn't easy to remove and there was a lot of glue residue left. So I'm definitely not doing any more myself. We're considering getting all the paper removed in every room and the walls painted. I don't know if there is equipment that's available to make this easier, or people who specialize in this kind of work, but it would be a big job and probably require us to move out for a month. I guess wallpaper isn't that common in Thailand (Pattaya) either.

I agree, not for everyone, but it's short, just over 30 minutes I think. I believe they are all from the short stories of Roald Dahl. There's a new one called The Ratcatcher.

This movie gets particularly bad reviews so have given it a miss. Like many other actors (Willis, DeNiro, Gibson etc) Neeson has chosen to take any old crap he's given, just for the bucks.

Yeah, that was brilliant. Pity they only made one series. IMO Far North is on a par.

Far North. Six part TV mini series from New Zealand. Really enjoying this, mixture of drama and comedy, supposedly based on a true story.
