  1. I have spent a lot of time (and money) in the dentist chair over the years in an effort to preserve my teeth, but in the end they got filled so many times that they had to come out. Still have around 7 teeth left at the top and bottom, total 14.
  2. Back in the 1960's I knew people in their 20's who actually decided to have all their teeth pulled to avoid all the expense and discomfort associated with fillings.
  3. OK, so seems like dentures might be my best choice, so the question is for those that have them, how quickly did you adapt to them?
  4. Like someone said, if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of my teeth. I have now lost almost all my molars so chewing food has become quite difficult, so I have two choices, dentures or implants. Implants can involve bone grafts and obviously greater expense, but the idea of dentures doesn't thrill me either, like how long does it take to adapt to them? Anyone else had to make this choice?
  5. There's racism and then there's the truth.
  6. Did this come out some time ago? After watching episode one felt like I'd already seen it, and PB has both episodes from 2021, so obviously it's been re-released.
  7. Like a very bad "made for TV movie" Gets 2.9 on IMDB, lowest score I've ever seen, but still generous for that pile of dog poop.
  8. Pink Ladies
  9. The Aussies were just signing a stat dec re income, no proof needed. Obviously that was being exploited by some and saved the expense of using an agent to circumvent the requirements.
  10. I bought it from the Lenovo "store", so any Lenovo dealer/repairer would be able to fix it.
  11. I have without any problems, as well as phones.
  12. Same here. Had it around 6 trouble-free years.
  13. Three new releases available on TG, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Last Voyage of the Demeter and Boogeyman.
  14. Same a cordless hair cutters, bought one from Amazon for around 300 baht five years ago, use it for giving the dog a trim, works perfectly and never replaced the battery. Also bought one from Lazada for 200 baht for myself, holds a charge for far longer than it takes to cut my hair.
  15. Sorry, should have checked if it was one word or two.
  16. Mobland with John Travolta and Stephen Dorff. I thought this was pretty good for a low budget crime thriller. Starts a bit slow but improves. Available TG and elsewhere.
  17. If you do the 90 day report online only need to go once a year.
  18. You have no idea what being harassed by beggars is like, try India or North Africa, they descend like a swarm of locusts and persist, persist, persist. Were you surrounded by 20 or more street urchins grabbing your arms and delving into your pockets?
  19. I doubt there's a BMW owner on the planet that can claim that.
  20. Some are worse than others. Depends what you call "problem free". I had a Hyundai for 8 years that never had a problem of any kind, but everything wears out eventually.
  21. What car brand is the most reliable? Toyota. Toyota has long been one of the most reliable brands on the market. ... Lexus. As Toyota's luxury division, Lexus adheres to many of the same standards of quality and vehicle dependability, which shows in its current rankings. ... Kia. ... Honda. ... Buick. ... Mazda. ... Hyundai. ... Nissan Not a luxury brand to be seen other than Lexus.
  22. I was talking more about the quality and reliability, which in a lot of cases leaves some of the so-called prestige brands behind.
  23. And they laughed at Korean cars like Hyunda and Kia. Not so much now.
