    I had a letter from the ATO saying I owed them $600 but they wouldn't pursue the matter because I was in Thailand. I paid anyway because at that point (around 8 years ago) I thought I might be returning to Oz. I never did, so wasted the $600 basically.

    Surely the mother should be able to identify her son's handwriting in the suicide note. Believing that the note was only done under threat from another party might be a bit of a stretch.

    It's being a realist instead of looking at the world through rose coloured glasses. The bottom line is if her valuables were out of sight they wouldn't have been stolen, simple as that.

    Leaving a bag on the front seat is just an invitation for a thief, same as a laptop or any item of value. Lock them in the boot/trunk.

    Have an appointment with the dentist today to discuss my situation. Have been doing a bit of research and came across Flexible Dentures, which sound ideal for me as I still have some front teeth both top and bottom.

    Nope, it was Manhunter with Tom Noonan, which was based on the novel Red Dragon, but the movie named Red Dragon had Anthony Hopkins. Joan Allen was the blind girl in Manhunter.

    I thought Jules with Ben Kingsley was an enjoyable movie. No gunfights or car chases, just an entertaining, heart warming movie. Available most places.
