    It’s the norm here in Thailand I’m sure her mum would have the 30 baht hospital card so she shouldn’t be paying anything just be honest with her and say have no money she will come back and say no money no money when that happens delete her from all your social media job done

    It’s very sad when you hear of one taking there own life but I suppose from living a life of luxury to ending up in a Thai prison is unbearable for most ! I’m confused as to why he didn’t follow a certain individuals example by claiming ill health and ending up spending his time in the luxury suite of the police hospital as I’m sure as an ex policemen he would be entitled to use the facility RIP to the deceased

    Big Big mistake you only have to look at a thai individuals personal debt to realise this is a crazy idea the other issue is if you allow a casino to be built then the laws on gambling need to be changed it’s either legal or illegal you cannot have it both ways !

    Other countries had offered to take these prisoners who had been in detention for ten plus years without charge yet Thailand saw fit to return them to China where I have no doubt they will be persecuted for the remaining years or even months of their lives !

    I thought gambling was illegal in Thailand how can they lock people up for gambling when they are about to open casinos !

    Chinese tourism has never recovered since Covid that’s fact plus Thailand has become to expensive there are far cheaper places to visit

    Thailand will regret this decision these people are persecuted by the Chinese Regime I wouldn’t be surprised if some countries like the USA announced certain sanctions against the country !

    Been here 20 years the only time I’ve shown my passport is to the IO always use my Thai pink ID card and Thai drivers license!

    Unless willing to sort the issue out I suspect they will be now in the prison on Koh Samui not a nice place especially for a Westerner
