In my opinion Thailand has played a big part in the spread of this virus when they continued to allow the Chinese to come to Thailand when it was only a problem in China, Thailand then became a melting pot for the spread of the virus around the world as tourists from other countries all walked the streets together and although many commented that this was not a good idea there was no warnings issued so people became complacent in their activities. Now it is coming back to bite them for their lack of sensible judgment.

Amazing Thailand, New Year is New Year you cannot change the holiday just because it is not going to be profitable as this is the reasoning behind this excuse. The holiday should go ahead as normal, then if it is deemed possible and we have sufficient spare water at a later date to hold the stupid water fight providing it does not cause any health risks.

But they cannot do this just for foreigners over xx years and already in the country, it has to be for all people over this age including Thai nationals otherwise it will be seen as a xenophobic reaction and certainly bad for an already troubled country.

All of the doubt regarding Songkran should be clarified by the Government, every responsible person knows this waste of water is not only something Thailand cannot currently afford but has the potential to spread the Corona Virus is real and therefore should be not only cancelled but prohibited this year so everyone knows where they stand.

I don't read anywhere in my original txt that only Thailand was responsible for the spread but I'm sure you must admit Thailand does have a large contingent of Chinese (or did have) compared to most other countries.
