Not simply a case of installing the fire extinguishers they should be checked yearly to see that they actually work........
You mean something like a hotel inspector who actually checks all aspects of safety like fire exits, fire fighting equipment, evacuation procedures and possibly training of responsible people to fight small fires - I wish....

Only if they bring in live pigs! (It's a virus affecting live pigs not the slaughtered meat.)
With respect please see below information taken from ASF website.
Prevention and control
Currently there is no approved vaccine for ASF.
Prevention in countries free of the disease depends on implementation of appropriate import policies and biosecurity measures, ensuring that neither infected live pigs nor pork products are introduced into areas free of ASF. This includes ensuring proper disposal of waste food from aircraft, ships or vehicles coming from affected countries and policing illegal imports of live pigs and pork products from affected countries.

Let me start by saying I am a none smoker, having said this I do agree with the above comment, this law is stupid and unenforceable, as also stated above within confined spaces smoking should be banned but lets be a little bit sensible when placing restrictions......

Don't blame him one bit on his stance also his response he was correct in what he did say, this was a personal incident and not one that people really want to hear about at this particular time.

It was a sad day here in Pattaya when they stopped the selling of Thai Beef Noodle Soup (Gwaytio Nuea Nam) complete with a heavy sprinkling of cannabis - It tasted great and set you up for a nice relaxing day...

Developed countries in Asia, such as South Korea, spend as much as 5 per cent of GDP on research and development of new technology and workforce capability. In comparison, he said, Thailand spends just 1 per cent.
He pointed out that more investment in R&D is required,
Otherwise, he warned, a large portion of the workforce may soon become redundant.
Maybe we have seen evidence of this within the police force as many have been moved to inactive posts......

Possibly brought in by the Chinese as they are known to pack all kinds of food grown in China including root vegetables, corn etc. and Thailand does not have a strict border patrol as countries like Australia .....

Oooops! Well, I am as guilty as most of the other posters yesterday, so my apologies to the Chinese. Autism is something many of us have never had to confront, and very taxing on the family.
I would like to know how the story got out saying the boy was a foreign tourist? Someone definitely stirring the bucket there.
Or it really is fake news to save face........

This has to be false news, prostitution is illegal (apart from the fact that there are no prostitutes in Thailand or is it just in Pattaya) therefore how can they be charged with under age prostitution.......!!!

Why is the military still doing the police job. They still think they own the country. Just another type of coup you pay who going to vote for you even if the people didn't vote for them. A coup is a coup no matter how you do it.

And if you give your friend or your thai wife or your thai gig your credit card to pay they will arrest them too
Why would you want to entrust your card to someone else, I agree with the statement they should check the signature with the one on the card.
