Notice to all prospective tourists: Following the opening of the international flood gates, "All tourists are recommended to bring their own water supplies for personal use" Chinese visitors are requested to ask their government to release adequate water supplies to assist with their stay.....LOL

Does it look like they will be letting tourists in any time soon? Based on the above, I really don't think so.
While I agree in principle let's not forget where we are, "Does it look like they SHOULD be letting tourists in any time soon" I think is more to the point...!!!

To come out with a statement like this is totally irresponsible, you cannot predict a date based on what the Chinese would like to do it should surely depend on the state of the country (Thailand) with regard to the CV-19 figures with containment being the operative word.....!!!!

Not enough of the Junta speak Chinese at the moment, these lessons commence in phase 2.....LOL

Opening the borders should be the ultimate last thing, first we need to stabilise the country within which means all the Thai's currently outside of Thailand but wishing to come home have been repatriated and the CV-19 figures have stabilised once clear of any quarantine requirements and definitely not before...!!!

Those arrested included British, French and German nationals, as well as several Thais.
So we are led to believe that there are 13 Farangs and how many does several Thai's equate to...?????

"General Prayut Chan-o-cha greeted members of the media at Government House...."
And why is he called General again? I thought he had officially changed over to politician sometime before the elections?
Prime Minister would sound better ... maybe I'm just thinking too much or reading too much into it.
Because he knows where his loyalty is also who will look after him in times of trouble........LOL

To put it simply the cause of the outbreak at the boxing stadium was an Army General who refused to close it down!
Anything else is pure deflection.
Correct, it is an attempt to stop finger pointing at the military is all......

This is surely false news, if anyone has a blocked or runny nose when they have a common cold the result is the same - Loss or reduced sense of smell it's completely normal.....LOL

Now maybe you understand what we Farangs are complaining about with the stupid rules and regulations in Thailand.......!!

This is an absolutely stupid statement to make, all it will do is make people panic buy and stock up on food items where ever possible which is something the government do not want to happen as it will cause supply problems.

It will not affect the Thai's who like to party as they normally don't start to party before 23:00hrs then finish around 06:30 to 07:00hrs ...........LOL

Total over reaction, limit the times one can purchase but this type of over reaction will cause people to make their own and we know where this leads, no one has said that alcohol should be restricted as it does not enhance CV.

Errr does this mean it will extend past the end of April as there are only 30 days in April..... LOL

It is obvious that Anutin is in the wrong position as these inane comments he keeps coming out with show the position he is in is way too much for him to handle.

Other countries UK, EU, US, AU, JP all kept their borders opened allowing Chinese to enter during that time. According to your logic, it is only Thailand's fault.
I don't read anywhere in my original txt that only Thailand was responsible for the spread but I'm sure you must admit Thailand does have a large contingent of Chinese (or did have) compared to most other countries.

In my opinion Thailand has played a big part in the spread of this virus when they continued to allow the Chinese to come to Thailand when it was only a problem in China, Thailand then became a melting pot for the spread of the virus around the world as tourists from other countries all walked the streets together and although many commented that this was not a good idea there was no warnings issued so people became complacent in their activities. Now it is coming back to bite them for their lack of sensible judgment.
