In my opinion they should start by allowing restaurants to sell alcohol and open the open-air bars then see how this works then consider opening the entertainment places that are all enclosed and air-conditioned.

They should open the country fully before allowing external travellers into the country, if they feel it is unsafe to open the country fully internally, then why invite possible outside travellers bringing further problems into the country, keep the lockdown in place or show some degree of sense and open the country fully first.

This has to be false news, for the generation of the grass roots economy the country needs to stop sucking up to the Chinese and get the Europeans back as they are the ones who spend in the local shops, bars and restaurants, the Chinese only go to Chinese run or affiliated to the Chinese economy.

Will this include places in Pattaya..? For some reason not disclosed although may reasons are being talked about, Pattaya appears to be penalised unnecessarily when it comes to restrictions, for example restaurants in BKK are allowed to open keeping within guidelines but not in Pattaya the they open the biggest market in BKK where people congregate in large numbers yet the open beaches in Pattaya are closed which makes no sense other than what appears to be a conspiracy to run Pattaya into the ground.....!!!!

What is the point, the powers that be will do exactly what they want to do; in addition, if it takes months to count the votes for electing a government how long will it take to go through the question & answers and arrive at a decision that the people want..?? One thing for sure it would not be this year .....LOL
