As has been said previously, if it were a Chinese ship I bet it would be allowed to dock - Thailand double standards once again

Netizens have criticised Prayut for “failing to show enough deep sympathy for the victims”. Some said he acted more like a politician running a political campaign than one feeling sympathy and sharing sadness with the families of those who passed away or were injured.
More like an Army General running a political campaign.....!!

How about just having people urinate in the sea, that would make about the same difference in the overall scheme of things!
I'm sorry but your post makes absolutely no sense, are you saying 2 days wasting water is no difference than 10 days of wasting water? where is your logic?
-
How about limiting Songkran to 2 days in Pattaya instead of 10 days this would be a tremendous saving on waste water, in addition why not prevent the use of fresh water for throwing about aimlessly by using filtered seawater especially in places adjacent to the sea and of course make the people that want to throw the stuff about pay for the pleasure of doing so which would cover the cost of filtering the seawater........LOL

According to Daily News, a staggering 1,602 people have been killed on Thailand’s road so far in 2020.
Daily News reported that in January alone 1,385 people were killed after being involved in a road traffic accident in Thailand, while a further 217 have been killed in the first five days of February.
These figures should not be used as a comparison as it only goes to show what a social problem has with the standard of road safety or should I say the lack of it, plus this only normally affects road users although some bystanders do occasionally get caught up in the mayhem. The Coronavirus on the other hand has the possibility to affect or infect everyone who comes to Thailand or other high risk country which is the main point....!!!

The plan had been opposed by conservationists and communities in Thailand living along the Mekong River. They feared it would harm the environment and benefit only China.
China only ever does things that benefit the mother land.......LOL

The Thai government will not disclose the locations where about 160 people, due to be evacuated from the Chinese city of Wuhan tomorrow, are to be quarantined for two weeks for observation, to avoid possible opposition to their presence from people in the neighbourhood.
Why? other countries that have brought people home have no problem with disclosing where they are to be kept, maybe they don't really have anywhere.....

Basically a good idea, but this cert should have a photo, be dated and renewed say every three or four weeks as people in this type of profession are very much at risk and do help keep the flow of people around each and every city.

Exactly how is he going to do this when the checks they are able to do only show they have not yet showing signs of having been infected, they still need to be isolated.

The Chinese spend the most. Most important foreigner tourist for Thailand economy. Sure. Love shopping, love tour, love eating expansive food.
IMO, everyone worry to much about this. Just same the flu. Nobody die in Thailand from corona. More people die on road, electric shock, other safety accident, air pollution, AIDS, murder today. Yesterday, tomorrow. Last week, next week.
IMO, maybe I wrong. IMO is to much panic this one.
IMO.
Sorry but maybe does not cut it, peoples health should always come first and definitely above financial gains

Why are the borders not closed for flights from and to China ?
Checking the arrival passengers only on temperature is not enough as people can transfer the virus in their incubation period while they don't have any symptoms.
Most other countries stop flying to China completely.
GREED.....
