Not everything is on the internet. So no. Gemini has not made sites like this obsolete. I have used AN many time for finding info on where to get certain items or find local services. Many small businesses are not advertised online, so I doubt Gemini would ever be any good for finding such places. Local knowledge from members here has provided me with answers that I doubt Gemini ever could. Sure. It could tell me where the local Tops is, but some little one man, no name electronics repair shop tucked away only two minutes from my home? I doubt it. Plus, it won't actively post stories and photos as many members have done in the past.

He probably has a little black book of everyone who attended his freak off parties, likely including some very powerful, influential people. This might ensure a lighter sentence. Anyway. Didn't Trump say he might consider giving him a pardon? As for restarting his music career, he is supposedly a billionaire, looked up to by many in the rap scene for whom his crimes are likely admired as part of the 'gangster' lifestyle of drugs, guns, bling, women and misogyny. Though 50 Cent isn't one of them. I doubt he will have much trouble releasing and selling new hit music.

Health Thailand Urges Action as HIV Cases Exceed 500,000

Seems like the original fear of this disease has faded into the past. Hardly ever see the warning posters about how to avoid it nowadays. They used to be everywhere, even on TV. -

If I were to buy a new car today, I would buy a plug in hybrid. The only advice I might suggest before buying a BYD, is to see if they are releasing any new or updated models in the near future, as this could cause a price drop for an existing model.

Report Thai Pensioner Scammed 51k Baht in Silicone Doll Fraud
phetphet replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
The scammers pay other people to open bank accounts in their names. They use them to take payments, then clean them out and away without trace. Very difficult for the police to catch them. 'Loneliness' must have been bad for the old boy to make him so desperate that he would buy a doll for company. -

I can't give a recommendation as I haven't yet used the one that I bought off Lazada, but there are plenty on there. More like plates than proper stone ones. Mine is a cheap so called "Diamond" whetstone. iOne of these might suit your needs. Mine is similar to this: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/pdp-i4427334818-s17713129824.html?c=&channelLpJumpArgs=&clickTrackInfo=query%3Adiamond%2Bwhetstone%3Bnid%3A4427334818%3Bsrc%3ALazadaMainSrp%3Brn%3A23e97843fcb9d5f1a2571efe20a45f56%3Bregion%3Ath%3Bsku%3A4427334818_TH%3Bprice%3A64.27%3Bclient%3Adesktop%3Bsupplier_id%3A100192737143%3Bbiz_source%3Ah5_internal%3Bslot%3A2%3Butlog_bucket_id%3A470687%3Basc_category_id%3A10100179%3Bitem_id%3A4427334818%3Bsku_id%3A17713129824%3Bshop_id%3A2313881%3BtemplateInfo%3A107882_D_E%23-1_A3_C%231103_L%23&freeshipping=1&fs_ab=2&fuse_fs=&lang=en&location=China&price=64.27&priceCompare=skuId%3A17713129824%3Bsource%3Alazada-search-voucher%3Bsn%3A23e97843fcb9d5f1a2571efe20a45f56%3BoriginPrice%3A6427%3BdisplayPrice%3A6427%3BsinglePromotionId%3A-1%3BsingleToolCode%3AmockedSalePrice%3BvoucherPricePlugin%3A0%3Btimestamp%3A1751644482680&ratingscore=4.809523809523809&request_id=23e97843fcb9d5f1a2571efe20a45f56&review=44&sale=316&search=1&source=search&spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.2&stock=1 Or try here: https://www.hachanna.co.th/en/categories/whetstone-and-accessories.html

I have a Bangkok Bank mobile banking app. I use it to scan QR codes everywhere to make payments, both in person or online. SCB, KBank, and most banks have them. Have you looked at KBank's K PLUS app? Not sure if any good for business, but it let's you scan QR codes, and do most online banking. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bbl.mobilebanking&hl=en-US https://play.google.com/store/apps/details

Causes of the exponential increase in Thai obesity?
phetphet replied to SoCal1990's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Thais ride or drive everywhere, even 50 metres to the 7-11. Their food is mostly fried, loaded with sugar, and washed down with sugar laden drinks. Even their somtum salad is full of sugar. You only have to look at the food stalls in many of those night markets to see what they are eating. I think it is mainly due to lack of money so they eat cheap, and many families have both parents working and don't have the time or energy to cook at home. Funnily enough this obesity doesn't seem to affect the Burmese workers I see in their construction camps or on the back of pick up trucks. Men and women all slim.. -

The government are looking closely at a lot of these nominee companies after complaints from Thai business owners that foreigners were taking their business. Thailand is also apparently suffering a large drop in tourist numbers due to various factors. If you are planning to open a business catering to tourists, you will have to take that into account and that there is also a low season, usually Sept to end of November when you might not make any money at all..
