  1. I'm not sure that MFP actually said that they would make adjustments, I thought they had said they would put forward a proposal for changes to the laws which would be discussed in parliament and obviously wouldn't be implemented unless those proposals received the required number of votes? Quite why proposing a discussion within parliament is a crime baffles me?
  2. Fair and just? Didn't they appoint 200 of them last time around? Hardly fair and just. Public trust in the Senate could erode? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  3. Is it just me or is he wearing lipstick and face powder?
  4. Must be a really busy horse because the only time I visited the place the beach was covered in horse manure.
  5. How many votes can each candidate cast? If they all vote for themselves then doesn't that mean they all tie with one vote given that only candidates can vote, the general public being excluded from voting? The whole process is nonsensical with candidates not being allowed to reveal their political affiliations or manifestos prior to the vote.
  6. Over the 14 years we've lived in this particular house I've seen a few of these, always on the floor, underneath the box they put the real bill in. I'd always assumed they were generated when the meter reader wanted to check the paper alignment before printing the actual bill.
  7. If they were that valuable they wouldn't have to offer massive reductions.
  8. Sounds like something from the silent movie days. Just needs someone twirling his waxed moustache.
  9. I don't see the point of any fine to the NACC, surely they would just pay it out of their budget, no individuals would be out of pocket.
  10. So how exactly do the other candidates decide on who to vote for if they can't share any personal information and political viewpoints? Just vote for the one who has a nice name or looks good?
  11. Will they be looking into who failed to follow up on the court order?
  12. Would be nice if they actually cited what these external factors are that affect Thailand more than their regional counterparts.
  13. Yeah, China, the bastion of free speech.
  14. I believe some Thai ladies suffer from this. (If you don't know Thai slang this won't make any sense to you).
  15. I agree. A friend recommended that I try ear candles, swore by their effectiveness, so I gave them a go. I was amazed at how much brown wax was in the bottom of the candle when I tried them. In fact, I was so amazed that I found it hard to believe, particularly as my hearing didn't seem to have improved, so I tried lighting another candle only this time I didn't actually put it in my ear. Once the candle had burnt out, there was the same amount of "ear wax" produced, despite having been nowhere near my ear.
  16. Taken from here :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_student_(United_Kingdom) About 12 years ago, my daughter, despite being a British citizen, was denied home student status when she applied for university, even though she spent three years at boarding school in the UK.
  17. I don't think it's as simple as being in the UK for 3 years in order to qualify for UK student fees. "The main purpose for the three years' residence in the UK and Islands must not have been to receive full-time education during any part of it, unless the student is a European Union citizen (but not a British citizen) and immediately prior to the three-year period was ordinarily resident in the European Economic Area, Switzerland or qualifying overseas territories (see below)."
  18. Looked everywhere except for the last place he had been seen.
  19. If this is the sort of reporting we can look forward to under the new ownership, I predict that click numbers will be heading South.
  20. Yes, I'd definitely say there was no less than one.
  21. I'm trying to figure out how a bullet comes through the ceiling, so is presumably on a downward trajectory, but hits him under the chin and lodges in the back of his head when he's lying own on a bed?
