  1. If that's a red jacket in the photo then I'm colour blind.
  2. You can't beat a good old double-negative.
  3. So the party the actually won the election don't have a candidate that has been cleared by the election commission?
  4. So the headline says "thailands visa free policy draws record tourist numbers from taiwan india" And the first line of the article says "Thailand anticipates a record influx of tourists from Taiwan and India this year, thanks to its recent visa-free policy." So which one is it? They have already drawn a record number of tourists less than a week after it was announced or they anticipate that it might? The usual totally crud reporting.
  5. Worked for me. Try putting this in your browser and see if it works :- https://www.expattaxthailand.com/your-questions-answered/
  6. How awful to read that different parties are trying to influence the new senators. Lets get back to the good old days when only one person was allowed to influence them.
  7. I think it's the daughter of Newin Chidchob that you are talking about. "In April, Newin Chidchob, a close associate of Anutin’s, organised a “Cannabis Expo,” also in Buriram, where he proclaimed that marijuana could be Thailand’s cure for poverty and disease. Newin is a patron of BJT and CEO of Buriram United Football Club. He is not a politician, but is widely known as the puppet-master behind many MPs in Buriram. Shortly thereafter, Newin’s daughter Chidchanok Chidchob registered with the Ministry of Health to create Buriram Community Enterprise (BCE), Thailand’s first cannabis supplier. 8. So you think a study that comes up with a rate of 0.02% accounts for "Brits all looking alike"? What's responsible for your own particular ignorance?
  9. Thank god they gave him something else to wear.
  10. So she thinks its ok to hit someone if they're not cooperating with you?
  11. Yes, interesting that only the rosewood trees posed a hazard.
  12. So he thought she should support him for life? Seems its not just bar girls who think a farang is a life-long meal ticket.
  13. So what were they doing all the other years?
  14. Do car dealers normally deliver to customers at midnight?
  15. I'm not sure that MFP actually said that they would make adjustments, I thought they had said they would put forward a proposal for changes to the laws which would be discussed in parliament and obviously wouldn't be implemented unless those proposals received the required number of votes? Quite why proposing a discussion within parliament is a crime baffles me?
  16. Fair and just? Didn't they appoint 200 of them last time around? Hardly fair and just. Public trust in the Senate could erode? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  17. Is it just me or is he wearing lipstick and face powder?
  18. Must be a really busy horse because the only time I visited the place the beach was covered in horse manure.
  19. How many votes can each candidate cast? If they all vote for themselves then doesn't that mean they all tie with one vote given that only candidates can vote, the general public being excluded from voting? The whole process is nonsensical with candidates not being allowed to reveal their political affiliations or manifestos prior to the vote.
  20. Over the 14 years we've lived in this particular house I've seen a few of these, always on the floor, underneath the box they put the real bill in. I'd always assumed they were generated when the meter reader wanted to check the paper alignment before printing the actual bill.
  21. If they were that valuable they wouldn't have to offer massive reductions.
