Just packing my alcohol sanitiser now.

Stimulus measures :-
1.  Recruit 20,000 new immigration staff to root out visa overstays.
2.  Recruit 10,000 new police to arrest and expel miscreants.

3.  Introduce a foreigner tax for those still here.

4.  Open 5,000 new car washes to use up any remaining water still left in the reservoirs.

5.  Start construction of 1 new runway at both Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang for the 65,000/day Chinese shortly to be coming.

6.  Reward everyone in the government handsomely for the marvellous way they have handled things.

A gesture, but misplaced, what are they hoping to achieve, other than accelerating the collapse of the economy ?
In the meantime Immigration offices are a complete joke as they are swamped with people being forced there for visa reasons.

The government cannot even put it's own house in order.
On Friday Pattaya Immigration again rammed full of people, pushing and shoving. Seats crammed shoulder to shoulder. It was the same at Bangkok Bank around the corner where it was standing room only, no testing on entry. Where were the controls when they needed ?
For once don't just talk about it, action speaks louder than words. Although I fear it will be shutting the door after the horse has bolted.

If he is willing to do this for Bangkok, the axe will fall on Phuket and Pattaya as well. Stand by Isaan massive repatriations about to happen !!

This from the lips of the man who told us less than a week ago there was nothing to worry about.
Mind you he also said that about the Stock Market.

There is an opportunity here.
Ko Larn has been off the radar of any sensible person because of the tidal wave of mainly Chinese flooding it every day. Why not now train and re-deploy the unemployed boat people co clean the place up, renovate, and tackle the enormous trash problem they have there ? Result : Jobs created and an island people would want to go to.
Why not ? Because this is Thailand, this type of thinking is off limits

With the greatest respect, is now not a good time to review alcohol sales on Buddha days ?
Thailand is facing huge challenges to its tourist trade, and the shutting of bars does nothing to help this. I expect the beach near me will again be heaving in the evening with devout Thais waving bottles of whisky and beer bought in days before. Residents will have stocked up ( if they need to ) it is the unsuspecting holidaymaker who finds themself without places to go.
All other retail establishments stay open, the police in overzealous action refuse to let bars do the same, unless as often happens there is some financial arrangement.
Especially as it is a Saturday with many sporting events people want to watch, there will be many grumbles in LOS. As I will hear countless times, " we don't get this in Vietnam or Cambodia".

Best to get buried at sea.
I decided on doing it this way a couple of years ago when my wife told me should not wait to dance on my grave.

Weird reporting. The boy is now an orphan and has been severely traumatized by seeing not just his father ( stepfather ? ) kill his mother, but then throw himself to his death. That is good news ??

Tragic incident, my sincere condolences to the family.
I hope there is a proper investigation into the ownership of the dog. Sounds like the gentleman in the spotlight is mounting a Thai defence ( running away from responsibility and hiding ).
The family deserve and need closure.
