How did this story make the forum, I thought it was only there for bad news, Thai bashing and pouring doubt over any positive news ?
If this is new policy please keep it up, it will be nice not to feel like slitting your wrists everday after the endless reporting of dark side stories.

The Dolphin roundabout does not even make the top 5 in Pattaya's grid lock areas. If the blocked exit was re-opened the net result would not change anything. The main problem with roundabouts in Thailand is that there are so few of them most Thais do not have the faintest idea of what to do when they see one. That results in panic and the inevitable " if I put my foot down I can get out of this " !!

Not much of a pay day for his efforts when you consider prison time. That is assuming the CCTV was working, which knowing Thailand is not a foregone conclusion.

Authorities have failed to locate her and police have been unable to say clearly whether she has left the country.
Why don't they ask the driver of the police pick up who collected her from her house where he dropped her ?

Although the new retirement visa has been available since Friday, Natthathorn said he has not seen any applications come across his desk so far.
Amazing, I thought all pensioners here except me had 3 million in their current accounts.

Note to self - Leave my red tee shirt in the drawer on 25th, the black one is safer.

If they were two of the road racers on 2nd road that keep us awake most nights, please give me the phone number of the man and women, I would like to but them a drink.
As the police refuse to take action only a matter of time before one of these boneheads is killed.

In accordance with the procedure, he explained that Thonglor police would have to translate the documents and have them sent to the Foreign Affairs Division of the Royal Thai Office to be approved by the national police chief and that the translated documents together with the petition for extradition would have to be sent to his office.
Sanit forgot to mention that this process will take just over 10 years, or slightly over the time for the statute of limitations for causing death, to expire.
Raise a glass to the man from Thai Bev !!

“When the time comes, how can I stop it?”
That was not a rhetorical statement, he was asking all the senior military in the audience for their input.

I thought the PM declared "no more reenactments" last week?
He also said at another time there would be an election next year, did you believe that one as well ?

People often get cranky when they don't eat for long periods of time
So that gives them the right to kill someone ? What planet are you on ?

What BS. If she had dated 4 guys EVERY week, it would have taken her 25 years. She doesn't look 50 to me.
50 guys sounds more like it, you would get the gist of how to do it by then.

At least Nelson only had one blind eye.

Maybe an element of BS but at least they are trying to reboot the image. Nice to see a positive story that does not involve drink, bad driving, violence ( or all 3 ) for a change.

Not just Thais. Keep Thai prices, install some pavements that allow people to walk on them and improve the air quality and tourist numbers would rocket.

In other countries Kittisak would have been inundated with offers from no win no fee lawyers to take his case. The broken nose, loss of earnings, trauma, humiliation money could set him up for life !
Go for it bro !

I thought "unhelpful" posts were to be banned. How is this helpful in getting more tourists to Samui, they should be concentrating on accentuating the positives. Such as...or.... OK I give in !!

He paid his policy and the insurance company entered into an agreement to cover him. He then had an accident where he had to claim. After that accident the insurance company should have told him that any further claims would be refused. Whether they considered him reckless or not ( he was not driving just a passenger so this is higly debatable ) they still had a contract with him and as such should pay the claim.

"He said that in his experience King Cobras cause no problems for people".
Why did they not print his whole sentence, " no problems for people living in condos above the 20th floor in the centre of Bangkok".

Well done the boys. Sickening to see jobs reserved for Thais being done by foreign labour.
