  1. He paid his policy and the insurance company entered into an agreement to cover him. He then had an accident where he had to claim. After that accident the insurance company should have told him that any further claims would be refused. Whether they considered him reckless or not ( he was not driving just a passenger so this is higly debatable ) they still had a contract with him and as such should pay the claim.

The only question here is why he departed from his head? Also find it very peculiar that they only filed an arrest warrant for his head?

Story continues....is his head still in the country or did it leave with the rest of the body? Stay tuned for our next episode of this great mystery!

If he was last seen near Mapruchan lake his body parts could be residing in many different provinces.

  3. I got a new passport book by application. The old book was returned with the corner cut off to invalidate it, with my existing visas.

I have stapled both together. When I leave the country they check the visa in the old book and stamp the exit in the new one. Had to get a police report the other day. They used the new book for my details but with the visa from the old attached book.

    works fine for me.

  4. A step forwards, but the main issue is being ignored.

While the punishment for most crimes here is totally pathetic, people will still carry knives and guns, happily cause road rage accidents, and engage in gang related crimes.

Install FUNCTIONAL CCTV's around towns, give courts the powers to hand out meaningful custody, fines and confiscation and attitudes will change.

If penalties for "general crime' were treated the way that the authorities pursue lese majeste, crime would be halved within weeks.

Yes I am a dreamer, not in my lifetime....

There is nothing to worry about," he added. "Pattaya is a quality place that is of a world standard".

    Was he referring to :-

    1.  The pavements which, in the unlikely event they exist on most sois, are blocked or have gaping potholes

    2.  The smooth running of the traffic, particularly weekends

    3.  The extensive pedestrian crossings of busy roads, was it 3 or 4 in the whole town

    4.  The crystal clear waters of the bay

    5.  The mindset of the police, warning people not to go out at night wearing jewelry

    Can't be bothered to type 6 - 43

Would be interesting to hear which world standard he is referring to.

  6. Nice to see te voices of doom alive, well and in such fine voice.

Just met 4 people on the bus to Pattaya from Suvarnabhumi going for a two centre holiday, one week there then going to Hua Hin. They booked their trip because of a recommendation from some friends who did same trip two weeks ago.

    Apologies for my optimism.
