  1. They always give it away somewhere in the article.
  2. IMO, every Ukrainian that dies going forward is on the politicians funding the carnage. That's the real crime.
  3. Another contribution of immense value. And the topic of discussion is Jingthing's opinion? Or is it Tucker Carlson's interview in Moscow? You're confusing parroting with quoting for information. If we're going to discuss the guy and his interview, shouldn't we hear from the guy who did the interview? But you guys feel free to go ahead and keep discussing your opinions and the well considered evidence you're presenting to back them up. I appreciate all the work you're doing to educate us.
  4. Thank you for your well reasoned response, and especially for the time and effort you obviously put into backing it up with anything at all.
  5. Here's some food for thought, #2 of Carlson's 5 key takeaways from his interview: #2 – “Russia is not an expansionist power.” Carlson declared, “You have to be an idiot to think that” Russia is an expansionist power. Why does Carlson think that? Because “Russia is too big already. It’s the biggest landmass in the world. They only have 150 million people.” He added, “They’ve got more than enough natural resources. They’re swimming in natural resources. They don’t have enough people, in their view. So, the idea that they want to take over Poland, why would you want to do that? They just want secure borders.” https://vigilantnews.com/post/tucker-carlsons-5-key-takeaways-from-the-putin-interview/
  6. Like so many presidents before him, he made a case for executive privilege related to possession of documents he believed he was entitled to possess. Which, in every case before Trump's, has been settled by negotiations, or in court without the filing of criminal charges. Edit: And without an early morning raid on an $18 million compound.
  7. Biden: "I am an elderly man ... I know what the hell I'm doing" Just in... Grandpa Simpson is suing for copyright infringement.
  8. Sure, 5 years later... When the heat was on, and he knew that his crimes would come out because of the Trump case. He knew in 2017 (and probably earlier) that he had classified documents that he wasn't allowed to have. He turned them over in 2022. Read the report. It's pretty damning. Because he wasn't senile when he committed the crimes.
  9. Elon would disagree. Probably the most famous expat in the world.
  10. FWIW, here's Carlson's take on the interview, or at least 5 takeaways, from Carlson himself. I'm sure the link is to an unapproved source, but I'm not claiming any facts, so I hope it's within the guidelines: I’m not exactly sure what I thought of the interview,” remarked American journalist Tucker Carlson shortly after his two-hour conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “It’s probably going to take me a year to decide what that was.” https://vigilantnews.com/post/tucker-carlsons-5-key-takeaways-from-the-putin-interview/
  11. And is it possible legal to work there on a foreign passport? One of the great things I found about living back home is that I could fund my hobbies by selling the results of my efforts, mostly to neighbors and friends. Not so much to make money, but to offset the costs of some pretty expensive hobbies. As a result of which, my neighbors all asked me to make some for them, too. That also opened the possibility of building an online business, though I had to leave before I pursued that. But I'd be afraid to do that in Thailand for fear of WP violations... Also, can anyone point to a good interweb resource that summarizes living costs in various places, comparing, for example, Spain (or Mexico) to Thailand? Preferably, one that breaks it down by real estate, food, health care...
  12. I'm kinda waiting for the celebrity jet flying somewhere in the area to declare an emergency to land at LAS. It'll be okay, though. Because the owner is special...
  13. Some interesting chatter in the right wing conspiracy blogs about Tucker's interview with Assange at Belmarsh that he apparently hasn't posted yet, and how the Putin interview may have provided some missing puzzle pieces for the whole Deep State conspiracy realm. It may get interesting, or may be a nothing burger. But usually entertaining.
  14. Reading in, it's interesting that Thailand has TDS, too. But the T stands for something else.
  15. What I love about interviews with RFK Jr, MacGregor, Ritter, and others is that they bring the receipts. And even if I disagree with their analysis, they point to the evidence that I can check on my own. But that requires going outside of "approved sources". Edit: I'd add Vivek to that list. I still haven't figured out if he's for real. But he does bring the receipts.
  16. As a whole, maybe. But I'd put some of my neighbors on Galveston Island (Texas) up against workers, providers, and fighters from anywhere. Not me. I'm a wienie. But some of my neighbors (mostly retired now) have seen it all and done most of it.
  17. IMO the takeaway there is that they weren't backward cultures. They (along with the S Americans and Mexicans of pre-history) were very advanced. To think of them as backward and their cultures as simple is to deny historical evidence. And if you want to award reparations or restore land, you have to be really careful about who you'd award it to. The people you ran off, or the people they ran off, or the people they ran off...
  18. Kamala still walks among us... She's just got excellent security. Probably similar to Vlad the Hammer. I haven't heard that one in Eons.
  19. One of the few times in my life I wished my grandparents taught me Russian. Because I don't know if Putin is a blithering idiot with an amazing translator. Somehow, I doubt it. But it would take a Russian speaker to know for sure. And a lot of listening and parsing. BTW, Russian was only spoken in our house when the grandparents didn't want us to know what they were saying. They encouraged us to take Spanish or French in high school, because they wanted us to be Americans. Not Russkie transplants.
  20. I'm hoping he lasts through January. Because the alternative is even scarier. President Harris...
  21. Reminds me of the California nursing shortages. Because all the nurses were moving to lower cost states where they could afford to live on a nurse's salary. I met a lot of them in Amarillo, of all places. And Austin and Houston... Cali refugees. Scratch a labor shortage, and you'll usually find an imbalance between wages on offer and the cost of a decent life. That said, I am all for legal immigration. With vetted immigrants that hit the ground with skills and work ethic we need, so they aren't a decades long burden on taxpayers. But that's not the way it's happening. And not just in the USA. Europe seems to be suffering the same.
  22. I wonder how long before the wimmuns start suing guys for hate crimes because we just don't want to date a 300 pounder. Or a ginger. Or a... Or has it already started?
  23. Nor have they offered reparations or apologies for what they did, or even reflect on the sins of their past. Like they're demanding from the US, including my peeps, who were getting kicked off their turnip patch in Belarus around 1900. As if I owe them an apology... Or the majority of the US people whose families immigrated since the 1800's Because they're only sins if you're a revisionist. Back then, it was just how the world and geo-politics worked.
  24. I sense those days of tax dodging are coming to a close as reporting between countries becomes more sophisticated.
  25. How is the trail of tears any different than what the Lakota did to the Apache?
