  1. I think the bigger concern for someone in the OP's position would be the advancements Thailand is making in sharing tax information with other countries. Working outside of Thailand, he may be exempt from paying Thai taxes, but not from paying taxes where he is resident. And, for some countries, where he holds citizenship. Not much risk of showing up on radar in the past. But the odds of getting caught out are increasing.
  2. Bizarre nonsense. Ask a Bernie voter. Or an RFK, Jr voter. In fact, anyone who doesn't want to vote for the elderly guy with a poor memory...
  3. Show me a single Repub who's advocating re-education camps for their political opponents. Even in jest or as hyperbole (so they claim).
  4. A) Look at the way native tribes treated each other long before the colonies were a spark of someone's imagination. Just about every acre of the US and Canada changed hands long before the colonies, and often in brutal fashion. They killed each other, often in the most painful way they could devise. The concept of a peaceful community of noble natives just doesn't comport with historical fact. B) Rosa Parks sat in the front of a bus. Admirable, sure. But it's hardly the same as forging a democratic country or writing a constitution. Unless you're a revisionist.
  5. But millions of future voters should be grateful for the opportunity to be born. Sadly, they'll be indoctrinated to hate the very act(s) that allowed their birth.
  6. It's a hook up site. I don't think that's one of those aspects of life covered under equal opportunity rules. (Edit: Not yet, anyway, but give it time) I'm not a fan of kankles. Most women don't want to date broke guys with bad breath. I wouldn't want to waste my time and effort or the other person's if I'm not what they want, or they're not what I want. How is that any different than stating right up front that the OP doesn't date trans people?
  7. She's a globalist (and warmonger) and the US is already $34T in debt, on top of household debt of over $17T. Taxpayers don't want to see our money funding gender equity programs in Slobovia, or military incursions into Podunkistan.
  8. They already tried to remove William Penn's statue: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/after-backlash-william-penn-statue-will-remain-standing-in-philadelphia-180983573/ Last Friday, the National Park Service (NPS) announced plans to remove the statue, as well as a model of Penn’s original home, from Welcome Park, a small paved area located a few blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. That decision was met with swift criticism, which eventually reached President Joe Biden and the Pennsylvania governor’s office. This week, the NPS reversed course, declaring it would leave the statue in place. Not hard to imagine they'll remove any references to Penn, including Pennsylvania. In the bigger picture, Trump is alluding to the recent push to erase US history, removing statues, renaming parks, renaming football teams, and otherwise disrespecting the (admittedly flawed, but period appropriate) characters that built the country into the greatest the world has ever seen. But is now being torn down, piece by piece. Edit: Not so strangely, that resonates with voters who have seen huge increases in crime over the past 3 years...
  9. Your first mistake was getting on a dating site.
  10. The claim here was that Biden cooperated... Yet, he knew about classified documents illegally in his possession in 2017, and didn't immediately turn them over. In fact, not for another 5 years of sitting out in open boxes behind the old Corvette. (there are photos...) Where his ne'er do well son had access to them. The report acknowledges that he broke laws. But lamented that any jury would probably see him as an elderly man with a bad memory. The kind of guy we want as head of the free world. So he didn't recommend charges. It'll be interesting to see what the next administration decides.
  11. So he's either senile, or he's a criminal. Or a senile criminal. That's the gist of the entire report.
  12. Or, Trump out of a genuine belief that, as President, he had the authority to declassify whatever he saw fit. That's not hubris and arrogance. Presidents throughout history have made claims and fought court cases to defend presidential powers. Sometimes they prevail. Sometimes they get overturned. Rarely do they get prosecuted. I'd say never, but that's a strong word.
  13. Conspicuously missing was Ukraine at a whopping $4,xxx, never exceeding $5,000 per capita. Meaning that Ukes that live in the newly Russified areas are likely to see their standard of living rise once the killing stops and the rebuilding begins. https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/UKR/ukraine/gdp-per-capita
  14. Not at all. Unless your expectation was that he'd somehow maneuver Putin into looking like a madman. Which wasn't his objective at all. It'll take some talented historians months to parse all that was said in 2 hours. But sadly, there are very few true historians and a lot of propagandists nowadays. So we'll be getting carefully edited snippets from all sides, crafted to support whatever narrative they're peddling.
  15. Can't help but wonder if maybe a guy that was causing them 8-9-10 years ago has just been released from prison and he's back in business? I've been watching too many crime documentaries, where nothing seems to be a coincidence.
  16. Biden knew he had classified documents in 2017 (and probably as early as 2009), and didn't turn them over until the heat was on in 2022. Mr. Biden then continued to read nearly verbatim from portions of his notes on the 2014 Situation Room meeting. Some of the portions that Mr. Biden read to Zwonitzer remains classified at the Secret level. More generally, during his dozens of hours of interviews with Zwonitzer, Mr. Biden read from notebook entries related to many classified meetings, including National Security Council meetings, CIA briefings. Department of Defense briefings, and other meetings and briefings with foreign policy officials. Page 106 of the report. You should really read the report. It's pretty damning.
  17. Voting for whoever the DNC Elite deem fit to put in front of them? That's a Dem cult. But then, the DNC Elite have a history of giving even Dem voters the finger and telling them who they're allowed to vote for, and not allowed.
  18. I hear wedding bells in the near future. A bunch of them...
  19. I'd have had my camera out, if only for the lawsuit. And I can think of a few dozen other ways that customer photos could help any investigation.
  20. I think it's telling that you didn't even mention Harris. I think The View would call that racist. Not me, though. I'd call it realist. We'll see... Things have happened in US politics over the past 4 years that I never thought I'd see in my lifetime.
  21. The rumors I've heard are about even between Michelle and Newsom. (With a few idiots demanding that it's Kamala's turn) In either case, they'd get a candidate that hasn't beaten the stuffing out of each other in a primary contest. My wingnut case would be Michelle as Prez and Newsom as VP, then Michelle will step down in a year or so and let Newsom have back to back to back terms.
  22. Biden sure didn't help himself. Even CNN is fact checking him. And not in a favorable way. Fact check: Biden makes three false claims about his handling of classified information https://us.cnn.com/2024/02/09/politics/fact-check-biden-makes-three-false-claims-about-his-handling-of-classified-information/index.html
  23. Still, releasing it at all was Garland’s decision, noted Barr’s former deputy, Rod Rosenstein, particularly because Hur recommended no charges against anyone involved. Rosenstein noted that prosecutors regularly write documents explaining their decisions not to bring charges. And those documents are typically kept secret. “Rob Hur didn’t issue a public report,” Rosenstein said. “He wrote a confidential internal memo. Attorney General Garland made the decision to release it.” https://www.politico.com/news/2024/02/09/garland-decision-release-hur-report-00140806 https://edition.cnn.com/2024/02/09/politics/garland-special-counsel-hur-biden-report/index.html
  24. Sometimes, you just can't win. I appreciate the OP link, though it's blocked here in China. Still had enough info to do a Bing search and get the story from several sources.
  25. Like most news, I find it best to copy a few key words and do a Google (Or Bing) search to get the story from several sources.
