  1. Have the kids in after 10:00 PM, and Pattaya is fine. Lots of activities for families. They don't have to shut anything down. Just discourage the real raunchy stuff until after 9:00 PM. Then they can pull out the boner pills, blue dildos and the ping pong balls for the husbands to sneak away. I suspect a lot of the wives would welcome the respite.
  2. Yeah, tough to answer the question directly without getting the post deleted for linking to "unapproved sources", so my post looks very different than my first draft. I contend that the fact the kid was born in the UK scares people even more than blaming a newcoming migrant. It's an indication that this is going to be a multi-generational problem. Kinda goes along with the German Charity throwing up their hands recently and declaring that "integration has failed". So the Brits (and the Swedes, and the French, and the Germans, and the Yanks) are in for a multi-generational fight. Child refugees in Germany are being radicalized in mosques, joining gangs, and roaming the streets with knives as young as eleven, according to a leading youth charity. The Christian-run organization Die Arche (The Ark), which operates 33 centers across Germany and supports over 7,000 children and young people from refugee and socially disadvantaged families, has issued a stark warning about the state of integration in the country. https://aseannow.com/topic/1334302-german-child-refugee-charity-condemns-system-integration-has-failed/#comment-19114736 And if you peruse the unapproved sources, you'll find videos of concurrent "mostly peaceful protests" by Muslims carrying weapons. But that doesn't support the globalist agenda... So you won't see them unless you look past the MSM to get other views.
  3. Contending that the recent stabbing is the only reason for the riots is like claiming the Gaza strife started on Oct7 and the Ukraine issues started in 2022. It ignores decades of pent up frustration. Do a Google search for "rotherham grooming gangs" and you'll find hundreds of links over decades. Do you think it's a coincidence or random violence that the "right wing mobs" are trying to torch a migrant hotel where thousands of girls have been sexually assaulted by migrants? Of course, I don't support violence. But if the cops and officials aren't going to protect the community, doesn't that push good people up against a wall?
  4. Who gets to decide what constitutes misinformation? Because even the so called "independent fact checkers" have a spotty record.
  5. Do you really think these events are happening in the UK, the USA, Sweden, and all around the collective west in a vacuum? Or rather, a series of vacuums where the same thing is happening all over, but completely independent from all the other places it's happening?
  6. I hope the OP does fine, whichever way he chooses. But I'd suggest packing some extra socks, underwear and cash in case he runs into a grouchy IO on the day. With 3 trips in a row and extensions on each, that seems like the profile of an informal resident. Hopefully, even if he does get called aside for "extra scrutiny", it'll be a warning to get a visa for his next trip. But there's an outside chance he'll have to go to the Thai Embassy to get a visa. Clean socks and undies are handy in those cases. Also, I'd suggest dressing appropriately and smiling a lot. Best of luck, and I mean that sincerely. Also, please post back with your results, which may help the next guy.
  7. It's not a UK specific problem. Nor is it US specific. It's the collective west, which has been co-opted by globalists. Just ask Swedes how they're liking diversity. And in that respect, Kamala is involved. Besides, I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to point out what her policies really are. Mostly peaceful...
  8. Not at all. Just remembering when loons like Kamala were raising bail money for lefties doing the same things, with the MSM clowns standing in front of burning businesses, describing the riots as "mostly peaceful". I have no issues with holding them responsible. As long as justice works equally for both sides.
  9. By lefty standards, they were "mostly peaceful".
  10. The title of the OP tickled me because of the many times I've been with Thai people, a white guy says something in Thai, and when he leaves they ask me what language he was speaking.
  11. My apologies if in advance if this isn't the OP's case. I don't know the OP's history (or his GF) and I'm American, so I don't know the rules in the Great White North. Since I moved to Asia in 1999 and lived and worked between China, Thailand and the USA, I have witnessed a string of Asian women who are on their 5th or 6th relationship with a random western guy, trying to get that elusive visa. Yanks, Aussies, Brits, Kiwis and Canucks. I suspect the IO's are tired of seeing the same women so many times. And I don't think the IOs are allowed to let on the real reason. Of course, the guys are miffed because their sweetie got denied. But in my mind, the IO was doing them a solid. Edit: I'd add that a year or so before Covid, I helped a female Thai friend (not wife, not GF) get a 10 year USA tourist visa. The agency we hired to help her suggested that she not even bring my name into the process. She didn't, and she got the 10 year visa. Of course, YMMV north of the border. (Just like car mileage because they measure gallons differently, too).
  12. If they're that proficient in tracking immigration registration and enforcing immigration law, it stands to reason that they're just as good at tracking voter registration and enforcing election law. But we'll only see, if Trump wins. After 2016, every MSM had articles about how insecure the election process is, and how vulnerable the voting machines are. Crickets from the MSM after Biden won... If Trump wins, I'm sure there will be in depth investigations from every MSM outlet, about election irregularities.
  13. Meanwhile, they've put an election year pause on the Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela (CHNV) program, because of rampant fraud (and to try to push the Border Czar over the goal line): 100,948 forms were filled out by 3,218 serial sponsors — those whose number appears on 20 or more forms. It also found that 24 of the 1,000 most used numbers belonged to a dead person. Meanwhile, 100 physical addresses were used between 124 and 739 times on over 19,000 forms. Those addresses included storage units. One sponsor phone number was submitted on over 2,000 forms, and there were 2,839 forms with non-existent sponsor zip codes How incompetent can an administration be? Or has that been the plan all along? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-freezes-controversial-migrant-flight-program-after-fraud-revelations
  14. Bummer. I clicked the link thinking I was finally going to get the real origin story of Rudolf and his childhood trauma.
  15. I had such good luck with Ergonomic (Vertical) mice (?) that I bought enough for my entire group at the office. Some of them loved them, some didn't notice a difference. They were all young pups, so maybe they didn't need them like old fart me. I bought them from Lazada. The wireless ones that cost less than 300 baht didn't seem to last as long. Edit: I had also bought an adjustable height office chair that helped, by getting my entire forearm at the same height as the desktop. It was a little spendy, but well worth it. I think about 5500 baht. But there are cheaper models with height adjustment, and you can spend a lot more if you choose.
  16. If he did so bad, why did Joy Reid excoriate the NABJ for letting Trump play them?
  17. And, according to Dem primary candidate Dean Phillips, full of friendly people, even to "the enemy" “I saw a line of people waiting in the cold for hours… every single one of them thoughtful, hospitable, friendly… frustrated that they feel nobody is listening to them but Trump. My party is completely delusional,” Phillips said. https://ericbolling.com/news/bursting-the-bubble-phillips-attends-friendly-trump-event-calls-dems-delusional-watch/ BTW, kudos to Mr Phillips. That's how you unify a country. Showing respect to what the Dem elites refer to as the deplorables.
  18. Trial balloon. If the IOC doesn't end it now, we can look forward to...well, nothing... in future Olympics. Edit: The men's events will be fine, of course. But is that fair to the XX athletes, who won't be getting Wheaties boxes and Nike ads? Why would they even bother to train once the top 3 spots on the podium are guaranteed to XY athletes? And that's what's coming if they don't stop it now.
  19. And if I'm Trump, I'd insist it was my turn to choose the venue... And dictate the terms.
  20. From what I've seen of the protests of the past few years, that's just the kind of graduates that journalism (and other liberal arts) universities are pumping out.
  21. If I had to bet between Trump and Kamala lasting to election day, I'd bet on Trump. There's still a good chance Harris won't even be the candidate. She's on a trial balloon. If the real polling shows her weak, they could pull her just like they pulled Biden, only days (hours?) after he declared he was in it to win it.
  22. I was pretty impressed with the selection when I was out and about after normal restaurant/ street food hours last week. I wouldn't want to live solely on a 7/11 diet, but they did have some very acceptable offerings. Well prepared, and fresh. Come to think of it, between street food and 7/11, I didn't visit a single sit-down restaurant during the 5 day visit. Except Friday night when I got together with some young-ish Thai workmates.
  23. If they released the names, it would allow a thorough look into their family backgrounds and when they came to be in the country. And under what circumstances. We can't have that...
  24. Still, I'd hate to be the guy who has to scrape the poop off all those keels.
  25. Should they be allowed to give then a ride down from Isaan?
