  1. I read what he said. My statement still stands. Perhaps you read what you wish he said, instead of what he actually did say?
  2. Maybe because the security guards didn't hold the doors open for them this time.
  3. Isn't that like asking for a link where a politician confirms that the reason he cut a meeting short was the double bean burrito he had for lunch? But everyone and their dog can see him walking cross legged away from the meeting.
  4. But here's the deal. The independents and the undecided won't be seeing any new Trump disasters. Those have been playing in public since 2015. They will be seeing a LOT of newly re-discovered Kamala screw-ups because the MSM has been hiding those from us. Like when she raised money to bail out BLM rioters who burned down city blocks, and when she supported Jesse Smollet (sp?). And she sent thousands of pot smokers to jail while toking herself. And God only knows what else the interwebs are going to find on her and send viral.
  5. To me, the most surprising thing is the sense of fun and love and unity you see when the press actually visit a Trump rally. To listen to the MSM, I'd expect a bunch of angry people ready to burn stuff down. But you only see that at lefty rallies.
  6. But all of Trump's disasters have been out there for years. His distractors have made sure of that. And his voters still love him. Kamala's soon going to experience the same scrutiny. Even Carville says her honeymoon's over... Democratic strategist James Carville on Wednesday declared the “best day” of Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential run is already behind her. Carville on “The Don Lemon Show” said Harris’ campaign has launched “very well,” but only because voters “wanted something different” and that Republicans were not prepared for her since they were focused on Biden. https://dailycaller.com/2024/07/25/theyre-starting-brutal-attacks-james-carville-says-harris-best-day-of-campaign-already-behind-her/
  7. Here comes the MSM cover-up. ‘Articles Were Wrong’: CNN Fact Checker Says Media Incorrectly Labeled Kamala ‘Border Czar’ CNN senior fact checker Daniel Dale said on Thursday that the media incorrectly labeled Vice President Kamala Harris the “border czar.” Media outlets rushed to erase their own reporting to downplay Harris’ role in managing the border crisis by saying she is solely responsible for addressing “root causes” in Latin American countries. https://dailycaller.com/2024/07/25/cnn-fact-checker-daniel-dale-media-kamala-harris-border-czar/
  8. Next, they're going to recommend not voting in person, because of ... reasons. (Bird flu incoming?) Anything that's working in Trump's favor... That's how you can tell the outdoor rallies are working.
  9. Compare that to the speed at which they removed the accounts of Trump supporters and anyone (including doctors) that questioned "safe and effective".
  10. I watched the first few minutes, and the "evidence" he presented is texts (tweets?) from people quoting the Thai Embassy websites in Canberra and the UK. I quit watching. They've never been a reliable source of accurate, current rules except maybe applicants at those particular embassies, and even that's doubtful. Then to post tweets from people who haven't actual experience... Last night, I did my 16th or 17th consecutive monthly visa exempt entry at BKK. I stay 3-7 days each entry, and I have never gotten any questions except twice, when they asked how long would I stay this time. Not even pointed questions, they just seemed curious- and they didn't even ask to see the tickets. It was nice to get a 60 day stamp this trip, but I'm outta here on Sunday night. US citizen, 67 years old, and I worked in Thailand for about 6-7 years pre-Covid. YMMV, obviously. One downside is that the immigration queue was longer than previously (for a 2:00 AM arrival) though not bad. A lot of folks in the queue used to stand in the VOA queue instead. Now, we queue together. Oh well. The 2 land crossing limits has been discussed in quite a few threads, and I have no personal experience there.
  11. Those outdoor rallies must be working well if the deep state actors want to end them.
  12. Gotta love the internet, because it's forever. Trump doesn't need to worry, because all his foibles are already in the public eye. Kamala? She may need to sweat, as her old tweets get dug up... I'll bet there's a lot of lefties wishing that she'd been censored like the right was. VP Kamala Harris' old tweet supporting Jussie Smollett surfaces https://www.foxnews.com/video/6359200337112 Looks like she may end up being encumbered by what has come before.
  13. Is there a dental clinic or hospital that's recommended for emergencies? Preferably near a BTS or MRT. A bum tooth just started acting up a couple of days ago and I was hoping to get the work done at my old dentist near Asoke. But I need a backup plan if they can't fit me in (or if they're not even there post Covid). I'm expecting a simple extraction, but open to a root canal if the dentist recommends it. Arriving tonight after midnight, so I expect to start my quest in the morning. Pain is now intermittent. Any first hand recommendations? I'm not averse to paying more because it's a short fuse issue.
  14. I have a theory... Actually, a 2 parter. But it flies in the face of "the narrative". Edit: Both parts involve LBJ.
  15. Back in 1968, my 5th grade class held an election to see who should be president. I'll never forget Chip Williams' campaign poster proclaiming "Boss Hair, Boss Kennedy." I don't know why your post reminded me of that. Really, I do know. But Mom always told me to say something nice, or don't say anything at all.
  16. The right wing media had that correction in print before the ink dried on the false rumor. Fake Gnus. I posted a link days and days ago. I'd go back and look for that thread, but it's a PITA on a small screen in an airport. Someone else can look maybe... Nobody's deserting. In fact, Musk's endorsement, and the technology he can bring to expose any election shenanigans is worth more than money. Keep in mind he has warned against insecure voting machines, unlimited mail in ballots, and registering illegals to vote. The Twitter/X data scraping may make a difference this time. Well see if the RNC has really learned the lessons.
  17. Are you claiming gender dysphoria is the fault of the parents?
  18. Yeah. Hillary always dreamed of being SOS. That's the big prize. Though, being 4th in line of succession, she probably gave it some thought. But the odds of getting caught were just too high with that many...
  19. The only part you missed is where they go over the county permits for the rally and find out that someone on his staff underestimated the size of the crowd. And he signed off, because he signs 800 mundane documents at a time. They'll charge him with misdemeanor fraud. But elevate it to a felony because someone was killed.
  20. One enviable phenomenon I've been seeing up in Tianjin where the temps are running around 38C is the EV drivers parked in their cars with just the AC and tunes running. ICE cars depend on high RPMs for the AC to work properly. It appears that EV air conditioners work well even standing still. Edit: that brings up another potential for EVs, to charge them up when electric rates are low, and feed power back during peak hours when the rates spike. Or like in Texas where electricity was knocked out for a week. On one hand, they couldn't charge the EVs, but they really needed to keep their fridges running more than they needed to drive around on flooded roads.
  21. They'll blame Trump. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see them file charges against him, going by recent history.
  22. He'll have them after that fiber supplement does its thing.
  23. Be careful what you ask for. They'll pull out pages of lefty talking points, all of which can be refuted by going to the root data. But it takes hours of digging and calculating. The MSM and DNC have so many people on staff, carefully choosing the data they present and the weasel words they use. It's tough to compete with that unless you can devote full time. One example is the "15 million jobs." We're barely ahead of pre Covid jobs. And it's even worse for full time jobs and native born workers. I've posted the actual stats many times, exposing their weasel wording.
  24. It's the blind squirrel thing. I actually agree with a lot of her positions. But her delivery makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I wish she'd take some remedial debate classes.
