Totally agree! Unfortunately the Philippines is very poor..... Especially the infrastructure, the streets are filthy and the food is totally horrendous and that's the reason I too choose to stay in Thailand .... But the pinoys are still more gorgeous!

even the countries from the old soviet block like russia ,ukraine and eastern europe,poland ,lithuania etc

all have women that are smoking hot ,great bodies and great personality

countries that have been relatively wealthy like the usa ,ireland and england are filled with complete dogs less attractive women

Oh you guys think i 'm a fat american? I am 88 kg and very tall and active so for me the meals are just small.

I ate in a thai steakhouse one day, costed around 60 baht a meal but man was it small. Small piece of chicken, some sauce (a teaspoon full),a leaf of lettuce, 5 french fry's and that was the meal.

Or in Foodland restaurant, mixed grill for 180 baht and i got 4 very small pieces of meat.

I know the prices are not skyhigh but why those small portions? So how can there be so many fat people in Thailand?

thais are either malnourished looking or obese ,not many fall in between at a healthy looking weight and build

especially in the poorer areas of bkk

they love to eat KFC and its ridiculously fattening greecy <deleted> ad drinking beer

probably responsible for the men ,also theres far too much sugar in every drink

i am about the same height and weight and i have to order two meals in most places because

even though the food is cheap you would still be starving eating just one wafer thin steak and

a single leaf of lettuce and 4-5 french fries

i suppose its due to the fact that thais are starting to like farang food like pizza ,pasta ,steak etc

but these things cost more than a typical thai meal so they give the smallest portions possible

so they can put a sign outside that says " steak for 49thb or 69thb " instead of saying its 200thb

and giving a western sized portion

That happened to me with my girlfriend (now my wife) while I was back in the states for a short visit. I was bothered until I wised up and checked my call log. I had dialed a wrong number, reversing two digits. I felt stupid, but frankly, It happens. in phuket last night went out to buy something to eat in phuket town area and a lot of lads from the army were on the back of a pickup truck just driving around with guns on their laps they shouted to me and some others on bike to go home.

They drink anyway so it won't make much difference if he's dedecided to drink at work he will get a drink from someone else anyway

There were girls walking around with signs say OPEN TILL LATE in Soi 4 last night.....that late apparently was 5am.

I went home early because we had been drinking since 1om but my friends stayed.......I never saw any policemen except for the guy who guards the gold shop at Soi 10.

As far as the army goes I have yet to see a soldiers anywhere between Nana and Tong Lor.

I think if you stay off the main roads and intersections you will be ok

They can't arrest everyine who's drinking outside their homes and many of the bars in my area are actually someone's house with a few tables and chairs so if asked to go inside we could for a few minutes lol

The curfew said don't go out between 10 - 5 am but it didn't say you can't be at someone else's property and if you take away the money, it's not a bar, it's a private party, is it not?
