  1. And I talk about other countries, it is not only Thailand. BTW is ikke family from you?
  2. Belong to the Cha-am office, where I can just walk in without an appointment. Will visit it next Friday to get proof of residential address.
  3. Oh, you think it's better in the Netherlands...pffff
  4. The man is not 100 per cent mentally. Took the Netherlands to the abyss the 12 years he was in office. It is also said about him, when he opens his mouth he is already lying, also he is compared to Pinocchio for the same reason.
  5. Ah, in my opinion, the Japanese toilet is still the best including hot water. I am considering purchasing it. But I don't find Thai hygiene overwhelming, for example washing hands after using the toillet, they have never heard of that.
  6. That does not argue with thai prisons, it happens regularly.
  7. I just made a apointment, thanks you all.
  8. Yes, I have a long-term visa Non O, retirement but not a yellow house book, even though I have paid for the land and property, this is obviously in my girlfriend's name so there is only a blue book, tambien baan.
  9. Due to the fact that I was staying in europe on that date, my driving licence expired on May 27 (5 years). If I understand correctly when I go for renewal now it would be almost for the duration of 6 years. But what I am wondering, do you have to get a certificate regarding your health somewhere first, and do I also have to visit immigration for fixing my residential address? Thank you in advance for your provided information.
  10. Many blocks of flats have rooms on the ground floor used as bike storage areas, it could become a very big problem if everyone charges their electric bike's battery there.
  11. That is a very wise decision, I am in a similar dilemma, and have also already invested some of my money in gold. But it is a fact that now in many countries around the world, banks are becoming increasingly difficult towards their customers, but they feel supreme, still.
  12. Surely a ruling was clearly made by the international court in the Netherlands and Thailand accepted it at the time. Now Thailand is starting to be difficult again, trying to escalate the situation, in my opinion they are the war hitters and not Cambodia.
  13. Upfront, I understand that it depends on compliance with it but wouldn't it be about time there was a law on loud mobile phone conversations.
  14. As long as you only stay in LOS you think it is only there, but take it from me that it has become the same song all over the world.
  15. No, you are not alone in this including myself but by the looks of it, it is normal for others.
  16. Can she read your posts posted here too?😂
  17. Then Thailand has it better in control by now, can remember the posters hanging everywhere, about HIV, the first time I came to Thailand 1993.
  18. Cannabis use, ....and there are so many who insist it is really harmless.
  19. That is the infamous 2 price system and is applied to a bit of everything. But yes, being a farang, you just don't get used to it.
  20. So you used that office. Next week, I also want to use their services on renewing my retirement extension. But have serious doubts regarding sending my passports (old and new) plus the bank book, you will lose it, then you have a big problem, or do they have their own courier service? How are your experiences with this?
  21. Thanks for the answer, yes I have a multiple-entry.
  22. A question regarding the new ‘TDAC’ form which has to be filled in before entry. I am currently in the Netherlands to obtain a new passport. I am leaving for Thailand again at the end of the week but have doubts about which passport number I should fill in on the form, as my retirement-extension is in the old passport. For this reason, I am afraid that if I fill in the new passport number, the retirement extension will not be seen and I will therefore be marked as a tourist. Does anyone have experience with this?
  23. It is common knowledge that Toyota has long been known as the car with the fewest breakdowns, surely that says something about Toyota. Personally, I regret buying an Isuzu instead of a Toyota.
