  1. Title of article: Bush Calls for NATO Expansion at His Last Summit Is English your first language? It isn’t mine but I understand it enough to know the meaning of an article.
  2. I didn’t realise that hybrids and EVs have a mind of their own. Are they rundown anti-EVers for fun?
  3. You prove once again you don’t have the intellectual capacity to be taken seriously.
  4. Do you really believe this? Or are you just posting for likes? Maybe these might enlighten you https://www.npr.org/2008/04/02/89300373/bush-calls-for-nato-expansion-at-his-last-summit#:~:text=Speaking in an ornate bank, gains and cement their independence. https://time.com/6294499/nato-summit-vilnius-asia/ For your sake, I will put the question another way. Is Ukraine joining NATO a threat to Russia? Yes or no?
  5. Sigh… you really lack mental acuity if you can’t see the difference between the two. I said what I said about Tucker Carlson because I heard the words he said from his own mouth. I will feed your addiction for links by including one that supports my view. There are hundreds of other such links, just google it. https://edition.cnn.com/2023/05/03/media/tucker-carlson-text-message-analysis/index.html Horowitz on the other hand is conjecturing, drawing his own, erroneous I should add, conclusions about Putin’s motives. I have not seen any credible supporting evidence for his ridiculous claims.
  6. No, I don’t believe that Russia has the right to attack other countries for territorial gains. I don’t believe that Russia started this SMO for territorial gain. If that was the objective, they would have gone in with a much bigger force, not just the 200-300,000 troops. I believe their goal was to get Ukraine to the negotiating table and they actually succeeded. A deal was initialled by the Ukrainian side in Turkey. Sadly, this was scuppered by the US and UK. Anyone that has been following events closely would know this. Now maybe you would have the decency to answer my question. NATO expanding into Ukraine poses a major threat to Russia. Agree or disagree?
  7. Lol. Some people just have no clue. Or can’t face facts. Hopeless.
  8. Why do you have troops thousands of kms away from your own borders? Creating tension and chaos no doubt. I don’t see any Asian or African countries having troops in Europe or the Americas.
  9. Really? I don’t think so. All the reports I read are pro-Ukrainian and western media and practically all had a disclaimer. Simply put, there was zero evidence of it happening. Basically, it didn’t happen.
  10. Not at all. It’s just sad that Ukraine is now so desperate that they are blatantly lying about their imagined successes. This reminds me of an earlier claim that they destroyed a Amata tank and had the same thing - crosshairs on a tank. It transpired that they had taken a picture of this tank that was taken during a military drill in 2019 and had photoshopped the crosshairs on the same picture 🤪 Cna you imagine the level of desperation they are facing? Poor Ukraine. Another example was their claim that they shot down all 66 Russian drones on May 18 and 19 and then news reports came out on May 20 about 3 or 4 power stations being taken out. Ukraine no longer has any credibility, much like some posters.
  11. Ok, easy question. NATO expanding into Ukraine poses a major threat to Russia. Agree or disagree?
  12. Strange that there isn’t actual footage to support this claim. Not a porky pie surely? Oh, I forgot. There is a link, so it must be true…
  13. You are not entirely wrong there. Some disgusting US politicians have said as much. However I don’t think that this goal will be achieved. The longer this conflict drags on, the more fed up the ROW will be with the collective west. Also it costs much less for Russia to produce the arms and munitions necessary than it does for the American and western taxpayer. Russia also has the support of China and when push comes to shove, it’s very clear who will emerge victorious in this war of attrition.
  14. Excellent points. Another thing about Wikipedia is that anyone can “contribute” to it. Guess which country has the resources and desire to skew views by means of Wikipedia articles.
  15. Tucker’s a racist, xenophobe and many other disgusting things. Sadly, he’s not an idiot as he knows what his audience likes to hear and believe. Fortunately, I’m not part of his audience.
  16. Standard western propaganda. Don’t you have something more original?
  17. He makes a compelling argument in your view, because that’s what you want to believe. In my view, he’s talking nonsense. That makes him an idiot, in my view.
  18. What a coincidence. All my American friends tell me not to believe anything that comes out of America. It doesn’t matter what your views are or what your (imaginary?) friends tell you. Every country spreads its own propaganda and none more so than America. More countries in the world sides with Russia than against. That simple fact speaks volumes.
  19. He is forming an opinion of Putin’s intentions, based on his (Horowitz’s) own interpretation of events and information from tainted sources. For eg, in the first para: When questioned about the timing of the invasion, Horowitz asserts that the crisis is a product of Putin’s own making. The Biden administration’s information indicates that Putin meticulously engineered the situation to justify Russia's invasion of Ukraine. What does he mean a crisis of Putin’s own making? This crisis was forced on Russia. From the second para: Horowitz emphasizes that Putin perceives an independent, democratic Ukraine as a significant threat to his regime and to Russia. Total nonsense. Ukraine is an irrelevant country on the global stage. Most people probably never even heard of it before the conflict started. It is its geographical location that has brought it into focus. 3rd para: Putin’s ambitions extend beyond Ukraine. Horowitz notes that Putin harbors maximalist goals of reestablishing Russia’s status akin to its Cold War power. Just repeating more western propaganda. At this point, I didn’t bother reading anymore as he has nothing original to say. I noticed you like to quote Wikipedia as if it’s unbiased and factual in all instances. It is in fact full of western propaganda and disinformation. In your own words, you stand as testimony.
  20. Because in my opinion, his conclusions are all wrong. To me, he’s just another western mouthpiece, possibly funded by those who has an agenda.
  21. What’s Putin’s final solution? Do share your insights.
  22. I wonder how many times this Horowitz guy has met Putin. I’ll wager none. He’s (Horowitz)an idiot and Putin doesn’t meet with idiots lol.
  23. Let’s agree to disagree. At least we had an intellectual discussion without the usual trolls jumping in with cries of propaganda and apologists and communists (this last description is the favourite of one particular poster who shall remain unnamed).
  24. Most countries used to be more developed than China. If I’m not mistaken, until the 70’s, China was one of the poorest countries in the world. In my view, China’s meteoric rise in the world is primarily down to its system of governance. One party, promotions based on merit, no outside influence. One does not become a leader in the CPC without having proven themselves over and over again, from grassroots level, XJP included. If China had been a democratic country, it would probably be where India currently is. Developing countries need strong leaders with vision. LKY is one such leader. Putin inherited a very weak Russia from Yeltsin. It’s going to take many more years for Russia to rank among the biggest economies in the world. Considering the fact that the west’s Cold War mentality towards Russia never truly went away, he hasn’t done too bad a job, in my opinion. It’s GDP may not be among the highest but it is universally accepted as one of three superpowers in the world today.
