Putin's North Korea Visit: A New Axis of Defiance Against the West

One term in the above article kept jumping out. Heavily sanctioned countries. Common denominator? That Great Satan. That is the major cause of world instability. -

Another sign of the decline of American manufacturing and products. Among the reasons given was falling demand. What would you expect when something costs 100% more than it should? Duh. -
There is no hard and fast rule. It’s a matter of opinion and interpretation. To my mind, the classification is based on looks, appearance, cuisine, even eating habits. For example, westerners ear with a knife and fork. Chinese eat with chopsticks, spoons and forks. Indians eat with spoons and forks and fingers, as do Malays and a lot of Thais.

Absolutely. I don’t think that anyone who is not directly vested in the conflict really cares who wins or loses, who runs Ukraine etc. I know I don’t. What irks me is the hubris, hypocrisy, arrogance and imperialism of the west. I see the same things happening here in Asia. What gives the US the right to criticise Vietnam for hosting whomever they like? What gives US the right to interfere in another sovereign nations affairs? The US actions over the past 70 years has been the greatest threat to world peace, from Latin America and the Caribbean to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand

You are coming across as being rather pathetic. No one denies that electronics develop problems now and then. This is not an EV issue but an electronics issue. The electronics in my previous petrol powered CLK had plenty of problems as well. It locked me out one evening when I had a particularly hot date so much so that I sent her home in a taxi by herself. I promptly sold it (my CLK, not the taxi) the next month. -

Well said. I think they just have too much time on their hands and just like to troll. I don’t have anyone on ignore but I just skip through their posts as it generally nonsense and I don’t have that much time on my hands. As an EV as well as PHEV and ICEV owner, I think that EVs are really the bees knees, best thing since sliced bread. The ride is so smooth, the acceleration so imperceptible that very often, I surprise myself at the speed that I’m travelling at. I’m definitely a convert but as I’ve said many times before, it’s not suitable for everyone. Home charging, frequency of long distance trips etc etc. That’s why I have different vehicles for different situations. Same reason why I own both a phillips and a slotty. -
Carry on believing what you like. Personally, I find it hard to believe that Russia is sustaining 4 times the losses that Ukraine is. But who knows? One day the figures might be released but even that might be fudged. We’ll just have to see who can last longer. I remember the Bakhmut meat grinder tactics that Russia executed on Ukraine.

You claim that Russia is losing thousands of soldiers and vehicles and supplies every day. I have no idea if that’s true or just Ukrainian propaganda (there’s been a lot of that, even more than Russian propaganda, in my opinion). I also do not know how many soldiers, vehicles and supplies Ukraine is losing every day. It could be more or it could be less. What seems plausible to me however is that Russia should be able to outlast Ukraine easily in such a war of attrition. Time will tell. No one seems to be in a hurry for the war to end so there will be plenty of time to prove or disprove some of your rather outlandish claims. I believe you are following events at the aggregate factory in Vovchansk closely. Do keep us updated.

Really? Whatever. You can repeat all the talking points you like, I prefer to look at facts. 1,000’s of soldiers dead, 99% of tanks blown up, economy in tatters, Ruble is rubble, fighting with shovels, blah blah blah. I’m just sitting back enjoying the show, watching the west destroy itself. The real winner at the end of the day is the global majority and particularly India and China. Russia also wins by virtue of being part of BRICS. Biggest loser is Europe of course and in particular Germany, for allowing its economy and manufacturing capacity to be taken out by a major competitor. Didn’t even put up a whimper when its competitor blew up it main source of energy supply. Pathetic really.
