Mystery leaks hit Russian undersea gas pipelines to Europe
Gweiloman replied to Scott's topic in World News
Actually the whole world knows why, it’s just that some are too biased to acknowledge it. -
National Archives says it still doesn’t have all Trump White House records

But the DOJ has already indicated the statutes violated (espionage act etc) -

There has been unambiguous factual evidence against him in so many different incidents (more than I can repeat here) but so far, all has come to nought. Mueller report, Ukraine, Jan 6, Georgia. Heck, they dare not even charge him. Only Peekaboo. She’s got more balls than Bragg. -

I’m willing to bet, if a report is ever released, the the findings will be inconclusive. This is tantamount to admitting that they’ve discovered whodunnit but cannot say for obvious reasons. -

Wonder why he deleted his post. Could be pressure from his masters. Or maybe he’s another anti propagandist. Ps: I’m hoping this post is on topic as it deals directly with the leaks. -

Oh so sorry. I didn’t realise that responding to your post is considered trolling. A thousand apologies. -

Sadly, now that I’m in my 60’s, my days of being called up to fight for something I believe in are long gone. -

Fully agree. I don’t know the man and have never met him obviously but I hate him with every ounce of my soul. The most despicable being in my lifetime (Hitler was long dead by the time I was born). Yet he rose to become the most powerful man in the world, aided by a political system that favoured money and popularity over meritocracy. Important lessons for developing countries. -

Certainly. Best part of my morning is drinking coffee and watching how impotent the DOJ is against SCOTUS and FPOTUS. Very important lessons in learning how democracy works in the free world. -

And yet, they may well control the house and senate before the year is out. That will be fun to watch. -

COVID on upward trend in Europe. Masking might have helped, lol. -
Ukraine war: Biden says US will not be intimidated by reckless Putin
Gweiloman replied to webfact's topic in World News
I have liked many of your comments as you have come across as being open minded and reasonable. What’s your view of Biden’s pariah statement and subsequent visit (Saudi of course). Sheer economic necessity? Not trolling. -

Retired US army colonel and state senator believes CIA responsible for the bombing. https://schillerinstitute.com/blog/2022/10/04/video-us-col-richard-black-asks-did-u-s-nato-blow-up-the-nord-stream-pipelines/ I believe he must be an anti-US propagandist, like Sachs. -
Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Gweiloman replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Thanks for the concise explanation. There’s another YouTuber, petrol ped, who installed a zappi. I find the different components, evse, hub, harvi etc a bit confusing and complicated. The hypervolt unit seems more straightforward and future proof. Problem is I wonder if local electricians have the necessary expertise and knowledge to install such units. -

I believe the correct term for the ‘wall box’ is EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment). -

The 2 smart chargers I’ve heard of are Zappi and Hypervolt I believe. There’s a very good YT channel called Artisan Electrics. They install a lot of chargers. Those guys look like they really know their stuff. -

Your post raised a few questions in my mind. You said you’re not allowed to sell back to the grid? Is this because your local PEA can’t manage this or because you’re completely off grid? My solar power installer is currently in the process of liaising with PEA to install a TOU meter as well organise selling any excess power I produce back to the grid. You also mentioned switching off your freezer at night. This can be simply done by plugging in a smart switch, controlled via an app. Does this really save a significant amount? I have a chest freezer as well as a huge double door fridge and two other normal fridges. I already have my instant hot cold water filter (drinking water) on such a plug. -

No no, not at all. Previously, I had no views on communism vs democracy. But I realise now that Communism is bad and by natural progression, all Communist regimes (Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba?, Laos etc) are bad and should undergo regime change so that they can be more like western countries. I’m waiting with baited breath for the good ones to show these communists the right path to take. -

Oh, I get it now. Any pro-western views are accepted as true, any opposing views are termed as apologists and anti-west. How silly of me to think that there are 2 sides to any dispute. The west is (always) right. Thanks for the life lesson. Just saw on DW that Ukraine has recaptured more territory in the south and north-east. Excellent news. The war will end soon, the US will supply cheap LNG to Europe, tremendous opportunity for Europe to wean itself off cheap gas, Putin will be tried as a war criminal, China’s economy will collapse soon and the world will be at peace again, with natural order restored. The future’s looking bright ???? -

You wrote “As we all know Putin's invasion is nothing to do with NATO and all to do with land grab.” There are some very well respected experts, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University among them, who holds the opposite view. Unfortunately, I’m unable to link his video as it’s against forum rules. If you are interested, search Bloomberg. -

It will be very interesting to see how the grid will cope when EVs become more mainstream. One thing to note is that not all owners will charge every night. I guess for an average owner with an average EV, they might be charging twice a week, maybe even less? (Existing owners can confirm).
