Electric Vehicles in Thailand

All 3 cars are in different categorise so it’s not right to compare them directly. Atto 3 is a class B/C suv, MG more of a crossover and the Dolphin is a hatchback. MG is arguably the best looking but the font on the infotainment system is really small and I would struggle to read it, especially while driving. I’m also concerned about the rather buggy and unrefined software although I feel it’s the best driving car. Atto 3 at 1.1 - 1.2 million, MG at 900+k and Dolphin rumoured to be 700k. All 3 with V2L (although if you want the MG adaptor, it costs an additional 8,000 baht), LFP batteries with the BYD using their proprietary blade technology. Based on the above, I feel the right choice for me is the Dolphin as I already have the Haval H6 PHEV which is a C segment SUV. -
Could have fooled me. But propagandised for sure. How many wars have China been involved in in the last 50 years, compared to your country? Why is the world, with the exception of the collective West, pivoting towards China? The days of the US empire are numbered, it’s just a matter of which countries it will take down with it.

Sigh. The reason there isn’t regional instability in the Western Hemisphere is because there aren’t any Chinese warships sailing in the “international waters” there. Asia really doesn’t need or want US warships here but unfortunately, still unable to stand up to the big bully. Matter of time though.

A bit late for me to go out and check (meaning I’m too lazy nd it’s a bit too humid outside) but I noticed that on my Haval as well. What I did was to stick a piece of foam on the bottom of the plate to stop it slapping/flapping. Will check tomorrow if I can remember and try to figure out a more elegant solution. -
I doubt China will invade Taiwan. It doesn’t need to. Taiwan will reunify peacefully with China eventually, something that the US does not want to see happen.

Thailand should stop purchasing any more arms or fighter jets. Stop supporting the war mongering MIC and invest in infrastructure to improve the country instead. No Asian nation will invade Thailand.

I had thought that the price was confirmed at 799,999 when I paid the booking fee. I asked my wife to check up on potential delivery date last week and got a surprise when the salesman mentioned that the price was not yet firm. They do not know the price either. The YT videos I have seen seem to indicate that it will be cheaper, which would be nice. However if more, then I will rethink the purchase. Salesman also said that I will be among the first batch of recipients in CM should I confirm my purchase. -
One good practice is to top up when you can, not when you have to.

Yes, I spent 1.7 million cash (as I can’t get credit from bank) to purchase the car and about to dump another 800k on the BYD Dolphin so every sating saved helps. And now that you mentioned it, I might spend my days in Central enjoying the free ac while lunching on some sashimi and wagyu. -

IPC, Tunghotel road. Note however that it’s a really quiet road in the evenings. I’m not sure I would want my daughters to be sitting there for hours waiting for the car to be charged. Need to download the EVolt app. 10 kWh DC, 5 kWh ac. It’s free for now (has been for a couple of years apparently). As a result, it’s always touch and go whether it will be free when you get there. Only 1 CS -

Free charging near my place. Reckon I got over 2,000 km of free driving in the month of May. That’s approximately the same amount of electricity I use monthly at home. Slow charging but I sit in airconditioned comfort watching videos and movies on my 12.6 in screen. -
Can anyone recommend a good company in CM to install a whole home filtration system (using a rocket filter)? I’m having trouble wrapping my head as to whether the mains should first be connected to the filter or the water tank (as recommended by a local company). Thanks
