This could be a news item to distract people from the ongoing Covid situation as their chances
to bring them to trial and justice is nil with many zeros...
It's taken 7 years for the NACC to "fault" them. Don't expect any action anytime soon!

To be fair, that's not exactly a cataclysmic loss to the Chinese in real terms. Just lost face.
How many people have been extradited under that treaty?

Wasn’t China one of those big untapped markets that Brexiteers wanted to do trade deals with which the EU couldn’t provide? That doesn’t seem to happen.
Is it better to bow down and give up principals then? Like the spineless EU do? Pay bribes, tell lies, and ignore all violations like money grabbing German big businesses do?

Thai airways have lots of spare aircraft, why not use 1 of them?
Ohh silly me no backhanders if they do that.
Maybe because Thai airways fleet is leased?
And the "opportunities" when spending a very large amount of money are too good to be missed!

2016 Republican Platform: "Federalism is a cornerstone of our constitutional system. Every violation of state sovereignty by federal officials is not merely a transgression of one unit of government against another; it is an assault on the liberties of individual Americans."
Weird that the NRA isn't all over this? I mean, the NRA has fear-mongered about government tyranny for years. But now that the government is acting tyrannically, the NRA is silent.
It seems that the "tyranny" is at the state and city levels where governors and mayors are either unable or unwilling to support local law enforcement to enforce the law and protect property and people. Protecting everyone's right to free speech is commendable. Only protecting the free speech of those who comments you support or allowing them to break laws by thieving, looting, assaulting, murdering or preventing others from exercising their legal rights is deplorable. And clearly being done out of political motivation.

These big private banks are not the ones that generally finance consumer credits to purchase cars and motorbikes.
And poor people don't borrow from these banks.
These activities are for the most part left to state banks, that will be the ones hit by multiple defaults.
It is generally the car and bike dealers who take care of the repos...then it's up to them to deal with the banks afterwards...
BoA/Krungsri have a department specifically concentrate on credit loans to buy cars. They always have a large stand at Motor shows in Thailand. KBank are usually there too. Tisco, mentioned in the OP are into auto finance in a big way.
From what has happened, sadly, to some neighbours in our Mobaan, where loans were defaulted on, it takes quite a long legal process to permit repossession and eviction.

I think they've been told their turn as come to an end, time for someone else to get a share. Resigning is more face saving and acceptable than being shoved out. Simple as that.

So we circle back to the British Government’s failure to order a full and transparent investigation needs explaining.
It is now revealed that failed to do so and are still failing to do so.
That's the opinion of 3 people who presented the media interview and have vested interest in saying so.
Now we must wait for the full public inquiry and report.
The UK has been very direct and open in it's criticism to the Russian government and numerous issues over the past few years. How many other European nations have? Germany, France, Belgium etc - all conspicuous by their frightened silence.

There is one thing for certain RR as sure as eggs is eggs, Guy Verhofstadt ahd the EU interfered with British politics, I suppose that doesn't count eh?
Obama most certainly interfered in the EU referendum. Very blatantly and publicly.
So did Juncker, Tusk and others from the EU.
And none of them did it to help the UK or out of goodwill.

Of course this government does not want evidence of Russian or any other nations interference in Brexit.
If shown the calls for another referendum to confirm the result would be overwhelming.
Interesting that you don't comment on the Russian interference on the Scottish 2014 referendum which would have been in support of leave the UK.

Prices went/go up in Belgium too, but also wages and pensions.
We have a unique system in Belgium, when prices goes up, wages and benefits goes automatically up too.
When I came to Thailand I got 50+ for 1 Euro, now 35.
I don't know how much I will get if the Belgian Frank still existed.
Belgian is a small country, with no saying,
now we are part of an important group.
Germany is an important country on its own.
We therefore have different views.
It seems also that your bank problems are proper to Germany laws/regulations.
I didn't encounter your bank problems.
The U.K. is an important country too, now it left the E.U..
We will have to wait a few years to see the results.
If positive, it may give other important countries the desire to leave the E.U. too.
That's a very realistic post - thank you.

What a stupid irrelevant comment. Typical drivel from an SNP supporter.
Did you even read the article and understand which nations objected to more free handouts being given to certain countries that won't change while they're getting them?

I didn't care much for the 747, though it's a good aircraft. It was not fun flying into the old Hong Kong airport seemingly meters above the apartment buildings on the hills. It was like dive bombing. One could almost read the labels in the underwear hanging out on the balconies to dry. It was like flying in a shopping mall with wings, they are so big.
I did like one nearly empty late-night flight from LA to New York on the way back from Thailand. My wife and I each had a row of middle seats all to ourselves, so we could lay down. Food and drinks were left in the galley - self service. And we bought the tickets at standby price.
I agree with that about the old HK airport. I used to catch a flight that landed just before 8 am and still remember seeing in windows and actually seeing people moving about in the sky scraper flats. Scary.
They had a China Airways 747 that has fallen into the sea off the runway and been hauled out near to where you disembarked for the buses to the terminal. All rusty and spooky looking. Seemed like it was there for ages too.

Indeed. Loved flying in the Upstairs business class seats. Flying on business was so nice then (early 90's). Always flew back from Bangkok to London on BA. Out on Cathay to HK 3 weeks earlier.
Flying is just a pain in the <deleted> now!

She makes it very clear what ANTIFA's real agenda is.
So if you want a new socialist paradise, with the police replaced with a workers' militia and volunteer "good citizens", everything state run, with no democracy, no realfree speech (policed by denouncement and cancelling), and all wealth and property being controlled by "the state" i.e. the ANTIFA approved politicians, then hey, just let them carry on.

Yes much better to let the left wing Mayors and Governors stand police down and let the "protesters" do what they like.
A bit of looting, thieving, assault, robbery, criminal damage. All good to destabilize society - which is what they really want. Especially with election near.

*Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he hoped Britain could return to normality* is that comment some indication that his resignation is imminent? the pick of a poor bunch indeed
It just shows how bad Corbyn and his neo-Marxist corbynistas or Swinson, who couldn't keep her seat really were.
Labour under Starmer ain't doing a whole lot better till he gets rid of the corbinistas. LibDems down the pan.
In Boris's case, not only did he face no hopers in the GE, he hasn't got any serious contenders within his party yet. The Chancellor looks good, but needs experience. And the evil little Cummings is like the witch to Boris's Sheriff of Nottingham!
