Trump Wields Executive Order to Dismantle State Climate Laws
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
And which, pray tell, magical kingdom do you live in with peace and harmony? Glasshouses and all... -
Can you PLEASE enlighten us as to just HOW DEI has contributed to "Innovation" and "New Technologies"? I REALLY want to know how "Merit, Intelligence and Focus" was successfully replaced by "Butthurt" drag queens, prancing men with a d#@k in their mini-skirt, or some fat 'tard just so they can 'feel good about themselves'. Jesus dude, how do you look at yourself every morning? Get help.

Might be time to change his walkout song to "Another One Bites The Dust". I'm happy to see the insanity getting a slap-down. Even Schumer stated; "If we allow the government shutdown we'll lose the only thing we've got left to fight him, the courts" (from memory-his "Why I caved" speech after the CF vote humiliation)

IPhones to Hit $3.5K? Trump Tariffs Spark Apple Revolt
mrwebb8825 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
American carriers are giving them away for free for switching providers. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=companies+with+a+free+iphone16+deal It also begs the question of content posting. Why mostly speculation of doomsday and hit pieces based on opinion writing? Why not post both sides of each? Just thinking out loud. -
World stock markets plunge again as Trump doubles down on tariffs
mrwebb8825 replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
President Trump knows there's a timeline he must achieve and to get all the players to the table quickly he needed a sledgehammer. He's been warning the world for 8+ yrs to change or prepare for the tariff restructuring. There is NO surprise to those who voted him in just for this type of leadership. Only surprise was to those who have blown the US off every time trade was brought up. A bit like the end of that Pink Floyd song: "Hello, this is the United States calling. Sir they've hung up. Try again. Sir, they keep hanging up". So, he hit them right in the face so they quit "Hanging up". It has been causing ASEAN countries to turn away from China. XI is losing popularity, having exposed China's true nature and intentions. -
Trump Accused of 'Market Manipulation' in Tariff Reversal Shocker!

Truer words have never been spoken. Which Countries Are Retaliating and Which Are Negotiating Trump's Tariffs? https://www.investopedia.com/which-countries-are-retaliating-and-which-are-negotiating-trump-s-tariffs-update-11711796 Add "Shifty Schiff" in the mix and you get wash, rinse, repeat. COLLUSION: IG Report Confirms Schiff FISA Memo Media Praised Was Riddled With Lies Nearly two years later, the inspector general's report vindicates the Nunes memo while showing that the Schiff memo was riddled with lies and false statements. https://www.congress.gov/116/meeting/house/110281/documents/HHRG-116-JU00-20191204-SD1284.pdf -
I find this bit interesting given the coroner being the one to interpret 'how he felt' and 'what he was thinking' WHEN he died. I'm no medical expert here but I'm pretty sure he was neither "Feeling" nor "Thinking" by the time they met. Now, IF he had also performed an autopsy on his social media posts, platforms, groups followed.... On Topic: They do this in the US but it's cops running it. 🤠

True that. Thank God the last election cycle trimmed that down to around 40% and falling. 2026 should clear out another 15-30% of what's left. (pun intended) 😁 On Topic: The stock market is already coming back AND over 70 countries are all lined up to beg forgiveness and work with the US. The senate has already passed the President Trump's budget and congress is filling in the rest. This WILL be finished and passed before Oct. 2025. For those of you that do NOT see these, watch here: https://www.whitehouse.gov/past-events/press-secretary-karoline-leavitt-briefs-members-of-the-media-apr-8-2025/

Try asking Grok this question: Where do you see America in 4 years? This the answer I got from Chatgpt: In four years, America will likely be navigating a mixture of challenges and opportunities, depending on political, social, and technological shifts. There are several areas to consider: Political Landscape: The political scene could look significantly different, especially depending on the outcome of upcoming elections in 2024. The U.S. might face ongoing political polarization, but there could also be efforts toward greater bipartisanship or reform, particularly in areas like voting rights, election security, or campaign finance. Economy: The economy could be in recovery, though it will likely still face uncertainty due to inflation, debt, and global supply chain disruptions. However, technological advances, such as in AI and clean energy, could create new industries and opportunities for growth. The job market might also evolve with a stronger focus on remote work, gig economy roles, and automation. Technology: America's role in tech innovation will continue to expand. The rise of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and biotechnology could redefine industries and societal norms. Ethical considerations regarding these technologies will likely become a focal point for policy discussions. Social Issues: Social movements, especially surrounding racial justice, gender rights, and climate change, will likely continue to shape public discourse. How the country addresses these issues—both legislatively and culturally—will have lasting impacts on American society. Foreign Relations: America’s relationship with other countries, particularly China and Russia, will be key. The U.S. may further define its role on the global stage in terms of diplomacy, military presence, and trade partnerships. Climate Change: The focus on sustainability and climate policy could grow. The U.S. will likely face increased pressure to address the environmental impact of industries, with more investment in renewable energy, climate resilience, and reducing emissions. Overall, America in four years will likely be dealing with both the lingering effects of current global challenges and seizing the opportunities from emerging technologies, with the potential for significant societal shifts along the way. What aspect of America's future do you find most intriguing?

Iran Withdraws Support from Houthis Amid Intensified US Airstrikes

Biden Allows Iran to Access Another $10 Billion Amid Gaza War Biden Keeps the Billions Flowing to Iran Choosing not to enforce oil sanctions finances Tehran’s terrorism. Nov 22 2023 Biden Handed Over $16 Billion to Iran Which LIE is it you're referring to? -
I agree about the nukes. I was referencing them metaphorically. We have stuff that can do the same now w/o atomic use. My 1st targets would be their 'ironworks', dry dock, shipyard and sink all 3 of their carriers. Then activate the Halo system in S.Korea, Japan and Taiwan (after adding 3 more each in secret).
