Yes, but they are the biggest rip off supermarket of them all.

They have not got everything, nowhere near it, and you are limited to at least 1000 Bt, unlike Lazada.

I tried to take advantage of this but there is not much of a choice, they are taking it back in other ways ie about 50% added to a can of Princes corn beef. Scandalous.

Thanks but everything in the link to Shopee is in Thai, nothing there to chance it to English. Lazada for all their faults can at least have a button to press for English.

I still believe him although I have not been actually shouted at. The reason I believe him is because there are so many times IO's are very guilty of making up their own rules that it could be causing them to lose face, and we all know what losing face means to Thai's.

Never buy from Lazada if you can get the same anywhere else. In saying that, most of the things I have bought from Lazada have been fine, but there are too many occasions where that is not the case.

The second time I was told to come back the following day with my wife, I told him certainly not, I live 60 Ks away, I told him I wanted to see his boss, he came and sorted it out.

I believe him, a few years ago, I was doing my 90 day report, I got accused of having a 25 day overstay in a raised voice, I said to him also in a raised voice, "I do not have a 25 day overstay" I then said to him in a normal voice while pointing at him, something like "I will go to ATM and get you 20.000 Baht, but you will be in trouble" he then said "follow me" I followed him upstairs, presumably to see his boss. He then said "wait here" he returned in about 1 min handed me my passport and said "you report back in 90 days", I took it back, without saying a word to him and just walked away.

The UK and Thailand along with other countries will put all the blame on Russia, and they will be mostly right, just like the pandemic. To cut a long story short, just wait and see how much normal things return too when the Russia thing ends. ie will the energy charges in the UK go back to the same price they were before the Russian invasion started?
