  1. I don't really plan to go to the UK before Christmas, though that could change if the Cvirus eases up and it gets much easier to travel. Thanks a lot for taking the trouble to help me, it really is appreciated.
  2. If you think the restrictions and rules are unfair or unnecessary, then just don't obey them. Failing that, get a membership of the "scared of your own shadow" brigade.
  3. Because it might affect a certain professions business. Are there not certain nightclubs that are frequented by that profession along with certain officials? Oh! Wait! That profession doesn't exist in Thailand now? ????
  4. Maybe local airlines bosses are among the unelected PM's rich friends, like a lot of business owners who depended on Songcran to boost their profits, hence all that traveling between provinces which contributed to the upsurge in Thailands Cvirus statistics was allowed to go on.
  5. I have an email from Azure, never heard of them, wanting to know about change in VAT registration and a new service tax law in Thailand. What do I know about that nonsense? Deleted.
  6. "Not On Your??" What is the B? Another poster who thinks he/she is texting.
  7. Would you answer all questions honestly if you were a self employed person working only for yourself, in the UK? ????
  8. If anyone, I mean in small talk with people I know, ask me any questions about vacccines or anything else, I will answer them truthfully. Anyone else, to any question, vaccines or not, I will give them the answer that suits me.
  9. Have you read the post from KhaoYai? The PLF doesn't seem like a simple enough form to me, especially on a timescale of about 36 hours. That's only a day and a half.
  10. Thanks, So you have about 36 hours and a bit of running about to do, it seems there is a lot more to it than just filling in a form, and you have the chance of a flight cancellation, which would mean doing the same thing all over again. Thanks, you have been a great help. There's an awful lot of complications there, and what happens if you don't have a smartphone, or your not literate enough to use the internet on it. It seems that if you land in Bangkok and want to book a flight to the UK, there is no one able to help you over a small timeline. it sounds like an absolute nightmare.
  11. It is just one big mess, but I have done the bus run from Dublin to Belfast then the ferry across to Scotland because my return flight was cancelled, though this was years ago. Just how are we going to get the truth about this PLF thing? Maybe the best thing is to wait until I want to go to the UK, surely the flight I book will tell me what to do, someone will know what you have to do and to take responsibility for this PLF.
  12. The unelected PM and his cabinet should be able to raise $30,000000 between them without it affecting their standard of living and have another $30,000000 to spare.
  13. At least if you run regularly you won't have a fat belly and big boobies.
  14. no1. I am not a guest here, how can I be when I am treated like a criminal? 90 day reports???? no2. It is not an order from the government. Masks don't have to be worn when exercising.
  15. I ride a pushbike regularly, but do not wear a mask while riding, I always have one with me for any time I leave my bike, but not while I'm riding, and I am not breaking the law. I agree with you about the joker not wearing a shirt though.
  16. Thanks for telling me, I am actually waiting till things to clear up before I go back to the UK. I am not in any hurry, someone just mentioned this to me. These PLFs, I thought it was just another Thai thing, but going by what you are saying. it is international.
  17. Do you mean after I arrive in Scotland? Or before I board the plane in Bangkok? It would not stop me breaking the law if I did not agree with it and can find a way round it, as long as it is not detrimental to the ordinary people. I certainly would not do anything that is putting anyone at risk of getting the Cvirus.
  18. 1 I have tried many times. 2 It is still VLC. you can see it at the top of the screen when the movie starts. 3 It is VLC. I will try and reinstall it. Thanks.
  19. The burgers you buy at the bakers section at Makros are brilliant, best I have taisted yet, I always stock up on them whenever I go there.
  20. What about flying to Dublin, if there are no flights from Bangkok to Dublin, then Amsterdam, flying to Dublin, then getting a bus up to Belfast which is in the UK, and crossing from there?
  21. "The whole issue seems to have been a gross miscalculation by the Govt". Well what can we expect from a Military Academy educated PM and his soldiers.
