  1. This will definitely be the situation in the UK, I experienced it personally in June and July. I sure pity the average person especially the older people in the UK when winter really steps in, though I don't know about other western countries.
  2. Which west coast is that? Do all country's not have a west coast?
  3. "(My) life is as normal as it was before." True, apart from the mask wearing. Oh! One more thing. Will all the public swimming pools be opened? Maybe a bit off topic, but when I was in the UK recently for three months, the swimming pools were all closed the full time, and probably still are, yet everyone was saying that everything is back to normal.
  4. Anyone recommend an email notifier that will work with Gmail, one which will accept a google account password? I mention this because I use my google account password for gmail and my last email notifier would not accept it.
  5. Got it fixed now. Thanks.
  6. No, I am in Central Thailand. regards Possum ????
  7. Yes. That was on Lazada. I tried it out as a test, but would still be getting charged for delivery for items on Variety. Either I have missed something, or it is just the same old unreliable Lazada.
  8. I have tried it. This is on food bought on Variety. Sub total. 9 items. 641.75Bt. Shipping fee. 98Bt. On the small print above, it says "7.25Bt more to get free standard delivery". 641.75Bt is well above the 599Bt for free standard delivery. I must be going wrong somewhere.
  9. Yes, you have got that right.
  10. All I am mostly interested in is buying western food and there is not much competition for Lazada so I am stuck with them.
  11. No I haven't, I tried to enlist in Shopee a long time ago but they made it so awkward I just gave up, I am mostly only interested in buying western food as I do not eat Thai food, and I live up here in the boonies. There was Expat food, that is Siambury's, and they were that bad at messing up my password I just gave them up, besides you must order over 1000 Bt's worth of food and most times they are more expensive than Lazada and don't have as much of a selection. So I just have to keep on using Lazada, and have to put up with their incompetence all the time. I used Amazon when I was in the UK and never had a problem with them or their deliveries.
  12. Yes it is very confusing, so I cannot change even just the name from hotmail to outlook on my email address. Crazy.
  13. Lazada and their sellers are just one big joke, must be the worst internet company ever to deal with.
  14. Yes you are right, I only eat mash about twice a week, then there is baked potatoes, boiled potatoes, and chips cooked in the air friar, yes, bought from Lotuss or Makro.
  15. There are reasons why Thailand has a below average IQ, and that is one of them.
  16. Well I suppose wearing a mask is better than growing facial hair, what all the guys with unattractive faces did before facial hair came into fashion.
  17. Yes, if I had a face like him I would also wear a mask all the time in public.
  18. I was in Central Scotland from April to July, and heat was needed every night.
  19. Yes, free if you spend more than 599Bt I think.
  20. So if you buy say six of the same things they will all be from the same seller and the delivery charge will be much smaller. I wonder if there are figures for this. There are certain things like boxes of Cadbury's Smash that I buy individually as they begin to run out.
  21. Manipulation by the soldiers government??
  22. Yes it was very handy, but when I renewed my Bangkok debit card they were not interested in transferring the money I had to my new card, it was only about 200Bt, but still.
  23. There will need to be some sort of financial advantages before the soldiers will take any interest. If all the transport in Bangkok, except of course taxis, got together with thick brown envelopes, that would probably do the trick.
