  1. HomePro will only provide installation and repair services if you, or the engineer they provide live not too far from their store. I asked them to provide installation of something a few years back and they said no because I live too far away, 50Ks.
  2. Mine have never disappeared either because I cannot get anything on to Archive. In Hotmail and Yahoo you just click on Archive and there you go. In Gmail you click on Archive and it goes to Important. That's it.
  3. Yes I did that on Hotmail, created my own file and it worked, but one of the reasons I chucked Hotmail is when I put something in any either my own file or "Archive", some of my posts would just disappear. At first I just thought I had maybe done something to cause it, but it happened so often that I know that wasn't the case. I transfer the important posts to the Archives in Yahoo, and they have always stayed there until I deleted them myself. That proves to me that Hotmail was completely at fault. I just want to use the Archive on Gmail by clicking on it the same as in Yahoo.
  4. Hope you get better quickly Bill. Good luck.
  5. I have also started using the Opera browser and am very happy with it, but I will never go back to Firefox, very hard to set up, but that was about 3 years ago, could be easier now. I have also got Chrome and Brave.
  6. I have started using Gmail, and am happy with it, I have read all the instructions, but one big problem. I cannot put anything in "Archives", everytime I try to put something in "Archives", it always goes to "Important". I also have Hotmail and Yahoo, and it is no problem, I just click on "Archives" and there it is, so as I say, why can't I put anything in Archives on Gmail?
  7. Yes, that is the way it should happen, but it won't, if it does then that's because the top brass whether it is soldiers, police or the unelected government officials, they will always look after themselves first.
  8. I am not one for automatically obeying everyones rules as I will not obey any rule I don't agree with if I can get round it as long as I am not interfering with ordinary people, but If I know of anyone breaking laws which affect ordinary people ie drug dealing, child abuse, finding out where pedophiles live, I would not hesitate to tell the authorities.
  9. No not just doctors and lawyers, and not just in Thailand. and you do make a sensible post.
  10. So you think it is OK to drive drunk and kill someone???????????
  11. and lawyers are like the medical profession here in Thailand, as soon as they see a white face the cash registers in their head start ringing.
  12. My difficulty is actually logging in most times it is OK, about 1 in 5 times it is not and I have to go through security checks and get a one time security no. This is despite being a regular customer for many years and using the same email and password. This company sure sucks badly.
  13. Yes, to a certain extent, ie the prices of food in Thailand and the UK have risen greatly I only mention these two countries because I have personal experience of it, will these prices go back to where they were before the Russian invasion of The Ukraine when the war finishes? You can bet they won't because most of the time these two countries are using this invasion so food companies can get even richer.
  14. Sorry, my post was off topic, so I rubbed it out.
  15. That's because unlike western democratically elected governments whose PM's and MP's are well educated and have the brains to cover up their corruption, the unelected military government here in Thailand do not.
  16. and even being known to happen on a daily basis. A day is 24 hours, the latest one being over modified noisy engines. ????
  17. I don't think so, here it is probably more to do with greed and putting the blame on the pandemic or the Russian war.
  18. I did not say she raised her voice either, I said if and I stand by what I said. Now this debate is over, it is going nowhere.
  19. It would depend on how the nurse was doing her job, if she was talking nice without raising her voice, I would talk nice back without raising my voice. If she was raising her voice to emphasis authority I would not be slow in raising my voice back.
  20. You guess right, a very nice guy who does not take any cr@p from anyone.
  21. The poster was not well, he was sent to queue here, then queue there, this was a dreadful way to teach someone who is obviously not well.
  22. "I would have unleashed a verbal tirade on her". So would I.
  23. Thainess - a true definition? I sympathise with you all the way here. When this pandemic started, it showed most of the Thai medical profession up for what they really are. Greedy capitalists.
  24. I don't think that's any surprise.
