  1. Hi Ubonjoe and thanks, The 800K is fine and no problem, what about if i just let it expire and come in on normal 30 day visa exempt ?

You cannot apply for the extension directly from a visa exempt entry. You would first have to convert to a 90 day non immigrant visa entry (2000 baht fee) at immigration and it would mean two trips to immigration 15 days apart. Then you could apply for the one year extension during the last 30 days of that 90 day entry.

Best to spend 1000 baht for a single re-entry permit and apply for the one year extension when you return.

Ok, sorry to mess you around, but let me get this right so i know exactly what to do . . . .

I now have a valid 1 Yr Non O Multiple, but it does expire on 19th July (The Visa not my entry stamp)

I am going out on a short trip abroad next week, but will return before the 19th.....

So when i return again i go to Jomtien Immigration (While My Visa is still valid 19th?) to apply for a single re-entry permit (1000 Baht) ? How is this done ?

Then when i go and return again (within a short time) i have this single entry which i guess is valid for 30 days ? which will enable me to start the 1 yr extension based on retirement and funding ?

  2. I have a current Multiple Non "O" Visa based on marriage that was obtained in Savannakhet last Year, it runs out on July 19th
It seems to me it is easier and cheaper just to apply for a retirement Visa and the multiple entry extension at Jomtien Immigration ?
Couple of things i have read are slightly confusing though. . . . i fly in and out of Thailand very often (maybe 30+ times per year for work) and having only recently returned (2 days ago) still have 88 days validity of stay, but i read cannot do this visa before 30 days ? I will never get to 30 days as never here that long ? and when i return next time my 1 Yr Multiple non O will have expired . . . .
Exactly how to do i go about getting a new retirement Visa given the above circumstances and what exactly do i need to do ? The 800,000 Baht is no problem and also have Yellow book for resident/address purposes
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks :)

Wow, they were all your first vehicles in Thailand, You must have an impressively sized garage to house them all.

Got carried away and followed some previous posts listing all car bikes, Sorry wai2.gif

  5. so Chesney you maintain your order for the X1? what deal did you get?

Yeah, kept it as first two lots have all been booked already. 2.69% on 25% deposit over 4 years, but I saw some dealers offering higher rates. No discounts on the car as there is no stock and a long queue, they don't need to offer any incentives right now. I reckon you're looking at least the next motorshow before any price lowing happens.

OTOH 3 and 5 series with plenty of deals to be had. 5 years interest free for starters.

They still have the 3 Series ActiveHybrid ?

  6. Seen the float switch in Thai Watsadu today, but that is connected to the pump yes ? and therefore cuts the pump off when level reached ?

My problem is my bore hole is outside near the garage and pumps some 20M to the Tanks inside, not really practical to try and connect all the way back to the Bore . . .

Some type of float valve that electronically cuts water input instantaneously at the actual Tank (Have power supply nearby) is what i really need, totally separate from Bore Pump at once valve is closed that is fine

  7. Hi, I have a Bore Hole that feeds 2 Water Tanks, and from there feeds the house via another Pump

Problem i have is that the Bore Pump "cycles" on and off while the last bits of water go into the tank via normal ballcock (Picture attached) post-14647-0-61341700-1455425527_thumb.j

Is there a different valve i could use inside the tank that would shut off the flow instantaneously when required level was reached ? As once the water stops completely the pump is fine.
Right now i am manually turning the pump on and off each day to stop this cycling :(

    Any help appreciated thanks

  8. I've had a Dash-Cam in my last 3 cars - I wouldn't want to be driving without one.

I haven't needed it yet - but its there just in case.

The Dash-Cam in my latest car is the BlackVue DR 650 DG 2 CH and has two cameras (Forwards and Rear). It has no screen which I like as it make the cam smaller inconspicuous - it hides behind the rear-view mirror. I can view the captured videos over a Wifi Connection to the cam.

The installation was simple - wires tucked behind the upholstery.

I have a Brand New One of these still in its Box, Bought from UK

Never Got Round to Installing it, also with a 64Gb High Speed Card . . . .
