  1. Just been and had my 1000 Km service, seen the new 2013 Red and White one and really like it smile.png And like Mania says, it is only a toy for me, something fun to ride albeit very infrequently, now i want one !biggrin.png

So : What is my August 2012 Ninja 250 in Red worth ? (like Brand New Obviously) Taxed and Fully Insured

I dont mind losing some cash smile.png

You know in your other post when you said your going into the Kawasaki dealer to ask about parts

My first thought was...Uh-Oh...he is going to see the new Ninja & its all over smile.png

price wise I don't know, I do know the Ninja's do hold their value very well.

But selling against the new one is always tough.

Folks with 120-130k may think hmmmm If I just can get the rest.

Hey does Kawasaki do trade in's? Probably not a good price though.

But couldn't hurt to check. Your bike is super clean & as new so that helps.

I did ask them for a price on my old DTracker 3 Years old and 1500 Kms smile.png But they offered 70000 and i sold it for 100000

Have put an ad in Baht and Sold for 120000, see how it goes, i dont mind losing some cash for the new one, should have done my homework before buying it, think this new one will be around 160000, so i dont mind losing 40k or so as a Xmas Gift to myself biggrin.png

  2. I have a few Month old 2012 Ninja 250, it has not even done 1000 Kms yet, and trying to decide if to buy after market mods to spark the performance slightly, or just sell it and buy a new one ?

Did a search but cant really find the easiest and best way to improve performance slightly ?

    After Market Exhaust

Small cog change for a slightly better top end

Electronic Box to release the power slightly better ?

I am sure these have been debated and would think there are certain bits available to do this off the shelf in Pattaya now ?

    Any Help appreciated

    Thanks

  3. Phil Mickleson was a true Gent, showed his Quality with the way he took the unexpected loss to Justin Rose, Quality Guy deserves respect.

All in All, Best Final Day i have ever watched, Hats off to all the Players

  4. I was going to congratulate the European team until I read this thread and saw all the Yank bashing.

My congratulations to the European team for a well earned victory...but the thread posters here are no better than the Yank fans they criticize.

You don't need to blister me. I won't bother with this thread again.

You obviously never watched the match or you would have noticed all the booing that took place when Euro's did well. That's not 'yank bashing' it's a fact.

Boy you are a sore loser, just like those fans.laugh.png

    +1

  5. Fantastic win for Europe, Deservedly So, Great Golf by all and the Best Final Day ever!! Shame it was slightly spoilt by such poor behaviour from the American supporters, as said below, there is no room for behaviour such as that in golf of this magnitude, almost wishing for Europe to behave the same way to the Americans in 2 years’ time, but for sure they will not lower themselves to that level!!!!

  6. I have a 250 D Tracker which is now 3 Years old, i very rarely use it, it has always lived under cover.

In 3 Years it has only covered 1300 Kms, it has never been dropped or scraped and is exactly as when i bought it apart from the de restriction tweak

I am tempted now to sell it and buy another Toy to Play with, what would its realistic value be ?

    Cheers for any Help

  7. ESRI are normally very Good, They have their maps on my Toyota, the only problem with that is they are under license to Toyota and you need to go through Toyota for any map update, which is not only massively more expensive, but you just cannot find anyone at Toyota who know anything about it ! That is why i learned to update myself, The hardest part of all the process is finding the ID# of your SD card, then its easy

  8. I have not found much info on reasonable companies able to provide full building plans (Structural and signed) for a new Home construction just outside Pattaya of around 300M2 which i have already made the floor and roof plan with dimensions.

Does anyone have any contacts ?

As mentioned i have a full floor layout of the ground floor, and a partial layout of the first floor (needs finishing depending on staircase location)

Easy roof layout as it is oblong and all i want is a Dutch Hipped roof with ventilation.

Really all i need is Foundation and structural Drawings to pass building permission, my builder and i will do everything from there, i do not need electrical or drainage/Plumbing drawings or quantities of materials ?

    Any Help appreciated Please

    Thanks

  9. I'll start by saying "if it aint broke dont try to fix it "

I downloaded and upgraded to version 7 ...BIG mistake !! I have used Avast successfully for a long time but this upgrade completely froze my laptop, and it took several attempts to get rid of it.

Couldnt access many features on windows 7 including the task manager and internet connections.

Eventually via safe mode and a little coaxing it was completed uninstalled and and everything returned to normal.

so, if you have version 6 are happy be warned about upgrading ! you may well be very sorry.

Same problem, have gone back to 6 until i have the time to disable everything and do a selective startup, it just would not boot up and froze everything, tried many times, full install, upgrade everything, not much fun

  10. Why not go into Toyota and get one of the set's that they put in there top of the range Fortuner's. Will fit without a problem will also have the screen that you can update to S/Nav later if you want. Dont know if you can still get it but the one they fitted in their Sportivo 11 is great. Flip down screen to load C/D,DVD, mp3, usual plug in hole's, blue tooth, Also has large screen. I dont usually disagree with thing's MRO say's but my S/Nav map's are great. Garmin fitted by Toyota. Just one problem with the Garmin other than price is, a bloody woman speak's to you, and with an American accent so you get ROUT & not ROUTE. My G/L alway's say's to me why you turn on if you only shout at her, and supeak no dood. TIT.

What about the unit fitted to the Sportivo III ?

It has Full Sat Nav Built into it and uses an SD Card so you update Garmin Maps when you like
