You will of course be aware Toyota manufacture a lot of their own parts through Denso, a company they partially own, and these parts are manufactured in Thailand...... And of course all auto companies can buy parts from whichever supplier they want, local or abroad.... Funny as reading this thread you would think Thailand is awful for manufacturers which makes it strange that off the top of my head i can think of the following auto companies with large facilities here: Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Ford, Suzuki, BMW, Ducati, MG, GWP, Hino, Mazda, Harley D, Triumph, Yamaha,

I dont even think GM 'left; they sold the business to GWM in the region, nothing to do with doing business in Thailand.... GM were the 1st large auto company to buy land in thailand to develop on the eastern seaboard and expanded multiple times. Actually currently most industrial estate developers are going to report record land sales this year from inbound investment, and not just from China. They have not had land sales like this since 2011-2012 when the floods hit and many moved from North BKK to the Eastern seaboard. I believe there is a genuine worry they are going to run out of Industrial estate land to sell. The armchair experts on here is like amateur hour.... of course they have 'connections' and 'know people'.....

Toyota are going nowhere.... Lets also not forget that they self reported themselves on this case for trying to bribe judges.... which is currently being 'investigated' in the US so they might have another large fine coming up.... they even named the judges... but the Thai investigation seems to have stalled... Lets not pretend Toyota are holier than thou themselves... Vietnam is no better, its literally the land of moving goal posts when it comes to regulations....

Maybe the mask just does not bother them and did not bother taking it off or they need to put on in a few mins when they get off and just easier to leave on than cram in their pocket? Cannot really see whats funny about it at all.... Why do people sometimes leave their helmut on when they go into 7/11? hahaha hilarious.....

Girls and Tatoos, how much is too much ?

Looks quite sexy on a bar girl, and quite like it when its a take away. Would not want them on the wife... or at least not visible ones. -
A few weeks ago their were minutes of a CDC released with Meechai saying it should be counted backwards.... the 180 degree opposite of what he now says... Why the hell a country has to listen to some senile failed constitution writer who has been at the military beck and call for decades is quite preposterous.... The whole premise of the 8 year rule was designed to prevent people staying to long...

Thailand grapples with allowing more Chinese landowners
smutcakes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Its not specific to Chinese, its open to anyone. And like any of these schemes their are many unspoken regulations which make it far less attractive than it appears at 1st glance. -

They went up and down in the mountain range multiple times... I thought Everest was about 8,500 m, so its 3 times that. -

Also worth noting that a number of individual Thais finished the main UTMB race which is 170 KM. I believe one of them came top 50 which is a fantastic achievement. -

The rise to power of ‘big brother’ Prawit Wongsuwan, new caretaker PM
smutcakes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Rise to Power??? He has always been the main power broker... Seems that Thais are to cowardly to do anything about these people so just have to hope Karma catches up with them eventually. The only thing i can say about Prawit at least he does not even both with the pretense of working for the people. -

Prayut Could Stay Put For Months Pending Court Ruling On 8-Year Tenure
smutcakes replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
One would of thought the Courts would of been looking at this now, rather than waiting for a petition to be filed, to then set up their Committee's to brush it under the carpet or work out some farcical ruling... Expect lots of talk/reminders on how its National security issue to comment negatively on the Court prior to their laughable rulings. -
She probably feels safe with you, like you are asexual and no threat. A women's best friend.

I wear a mask outside sometimes and do always inside offices etc. The simple reason is its just easier to keep it on rather than taking it on and off the whole time. In Thailand going inside many places still request people wear masks. For most people you see knocking around are probably working and its just far easier keep the damn thing on rather than in and out the pocket.

Stick to topics you know what you are talking about... the more you have posted on this topic the clearer it is that you have no idea what you are talking about let alone you investing.
