I haven't seen it, but try MBK or some of the larger chain stores.

This will soon be forgotten come election time and the 500 baht notes are bandied about. That purple paper is just too mesmerizing to resist.
If I was a farmer waiting for payment for my crop, I don't think a B500 vote-buy would fill my heart with joy.
I know, you'd think. They don't seem to ever learn though. It's mystifying.

"chairman of the government-appointed independent National Rule of Law Commission"
That pretty much rules out any chance of impartialiality, doesn't it?

Clever Pichet for using his phone to record the footage. If he hadn't done the legwork himself, you can bet we wouldn't be reading this story now.

I actually agree with the government on this one. No good can come from stirring up conflict.

I would like to see this on television

It would seem more sensible to double track with metre gauge track and get the benefit of through-running on the new tracks laid through Malaysia as well. They'll save most of the time upgrading the current system to 120 kmh and eliminating the delays at passing places, while that will also benefit freight, and it can be done in incremental steps. SC
Stop being logical.

Look who's talking. Here's how it goes:
- You establish illegal, unethical, and immoral businesses in Thailand.
- You run this business until you become a billionaire tycoon.
- You've established yourself enough to seemingly 'disconnect' from the same businesses.
- You enter politics and and position yourself as a person against corruption.
- You start lecturing people on what you think is morally right.
And the funny part in all this, this person is elected by the so-called educated in Thailand. Give me a break.
The difference is, he has come clean. The rest of them are still spinning the same lies to cover the same old tricks.

'Ordered the dispersal'? Wouldn't say that was the strongest of arguments.
Yet there was clear video footage of a men in black coming up behing a soldier on Rama 4 and shooting him from behind, and yet nothing was ever made of it.
A couple of likes from like minded people. I would rather see the link before commenting. Can you post a link to it please
Still searching for the exact video. This one is not the one I am looking for, but shows a soldier shot by the redshirts....
The one I was looking for has a soldier who is unarmed outside of the truck approached from behind, shot, and then a man in black with a gun is clearly seen running away.
I am not saying the army were not guilty, they very well may have been. What I am saying is that the redshirts also have blood on their hands and are as guilty if not more so for the violence that took place in 2010.

A picture that speaks a thousand words.
Hahaha, brilliant. It really could be a photo of any of them.
I'm imagining a parliamentary session right now.

I am pleased at least in this case that the government is taking a sensible tact.
They could have played it up to distract from the current domestric strife..... hmmm, perhaps I shouldn't give them ideas.

"According to Mr. Wachira, "The survey conducted by the CEBF revealed that the consumption and purchasing demands had increased 22.5% in Bangkok and other big cities after protests against the blanket amnesty bill were organised in various venues".
Meanwhile, Commerce Minister, Mr. Yanyong Phuangrat, dismissed the reports of consumers buying food products in panic, insisting that it was just a "false rumour"."Why does the Minister have to come out and say it's just a rumour when there is clearly evidence suggesting otherwise? Is he a liar, ill informed, or stupid? Your guess is as good as mine.

Something smells off about this.

The gentleman on the right certainly seems to take his pointing seriously. I wonder if he preacticed in front of the mirror in the hope of getting a chance just like this?

except the one to be debated by the Senate today.
The key words.
"The people should rest assured that the push for amnesty has ended," she said.
Given the above that is a lie.
Yingluck said there was no truth to the allegation that the amnesty bill was designed to void corruption cases
Yet that is exactly what it will do.
Tell us again how many of those are against "Senior politicians"
You've summed it up perfectly.

Pull the bill before all hell breaks loose, and come back to fight another day. This won't be the end of it, the man is a meglomaniac with little regard to others.
PTP didn't stop because they were worried about the damage to the country, they stopped because they saw their own support eroding.

Every criminal is going to say he didn't do it.

A caddie recommends, it doesn't demand.
This analogy is a little out of touch of Thaksin. I doubt if the vast majority of his core supporters have ever watched a game of golf on TV, let alone played a round.

Well, some might say it's a fine line between crooks and cops, so an understandable mistake really.

"She also pointed out that the Opposition's ongoing street demonstrations, carried out with no regard for others' rights, had caused negative impacts on local residents."
Oh, <deleted>.... please don't insult our intelligence any more. You're just embaressing yourselves.

She is getting opportunities and a degree of fame and respect that she would otherwise not have got. I for one am pleased for her, and hope her good fortune continues.
