Many of the laws/rules changed in 2020 were illegal and had to be changed back. It was managed the same way, but again, many of the changes were reversed. And a lot more observers were deployed this time. Still a lot of work to be done. Motor-voter laws should reversed, ID should required, mail-in voting should be by request only, ballot harvesting should be illegal, or at least harsh penalties put in place for abuse would be a start. Oh, and states should not be allowed to use voter registration rolls to draw jurors.

As I understand it, only the federal charges are actually being dropped, but it is not yet final. The NY $500M overstating the value of his property is in the process of being overturned on appeal, and will be. Fanni Willis will get removed from the GA case, and it likely gets dropped. E. Jean Carroll sex will likely stand, but defamation gets overturned. Trump will get sentenced this month for the bookkeeping, and that’s a crapshoot.
