  1. truss will be a gift and as I have continuously told you, I don’t care what the Labour Party does.
  2. If you are going to compare things avoid ludicrous comparisons.
  3. Nah, what makes my day is the tory base seems to be venal enough to vote her in as leader...a gift to the opposition. #votetruss-the opposition's choice.
  4. No, the laugh would come from truss' words, not the media that reports them.
  5. Basing judgements on what makes a person bad or not by comparing someone who has tattoos with someone incarcerated for ten years is absolutely ridiculous.
  6. Nonsense, nothing wrong with tattoos.
  7. It's coming from sunak, not the guardian...
  8. Ah, don't you just love it when tories start to turn on each other. sunak exposing the farce that is truss' tax cut blah blah blah... https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/aug/22/truss-poised-to-plunge-uk-economy-into-inflation-spiral-says-sunak Let's hope truss responds, I could do with a laugh. #votetruss-promising without comprehending
  9. “Trump wrote on Truth Social that McConnell's comments about GOP Senate candidates were "an affront to honor and to leadership." Ah huh-it’s not like trump knows anything about either of those things…
  10. No I have formed my opinion via factual reports on truss, her poor public speaking comes from watching the hustings live [have you done that]v and other reports which make clear that she has no grasp on the details of policies she claims will solve the current crisis, policies which economists have made clear wont work. The fact she is going to probably win the leadership race is great news for the opposition. She is going to be a gift to them.
  11. truss has absolutely no grasp on how tax cuts will work or be funded which is why she continuously resorts to ''that's the chancellors job'' when questioned. She is a hopeless public speaker with no grasp of the minutiae of her policies, hence the constant U-turns and ''clarifications'' .. The opposition will have a field day with such an inept speaker. As to introducing the idea of a failed govt...just go through your previous posts. #votetruss- promises without comprehension.
  12. Now that is off topic, whereas pointing out truss' tax cut blah blah blah plans and how they contrast with those of a failed govt she was a member of isn't...and let's not forget, it was you who introduced the subject of those failed polices. But, hey, as you are so fond of saying, go ahead report me if you think I'm off topic...
  13. Yes, she wasn't chancellor and yet her only solution to problems is tax cut blah blah blah...it seems there are very good reasons she wasn't chancellor in the failed govt she is a long serving minister of...
  14. Nonetheless, and as you have pointed out she was part of a govt pushing policies that have failed.
  15. None of that changes the reality that truss’ plans according to economists and members of her own party will not work. But please tory base, vote her in, there is a good chance that under her leadership the tories are likely to lose power. #votetruss- the tax cut blah blah blah candidate.
  16. Glad you agree, the tories have failed and under truss (a longer serving minister of this failed government) they will continue to do so.
  17. The “finance thing” is the centrepiece of her election campaign…it’s the crucial aspect of life affecting the country, so it matters a lot. The economists have made clear that truss’ tax cut blah blah blah won’t work. But go ahead tory base, vote truss- the opposition’s choice.
  18. truss is all about the easy solutions, problem is the experts in economics are clear-they won’t work. #votetruss- she can overturn a 70+ majority.
  19. “On Saturday, Michael Gove joined other senior Conservatives such as Dominic Raab and Michael Howard in denouncing Truss’s core economic policy as a “holiday from reality”, as he came out instead for Sunak. The former Tory chancellor Ken Clarke, interviewed in the Observer New Review, dismisses Truss’s tax plans as “nonsense” and says they will stoke inflation at the worst possible time.” #votetruss-the candidate for those who can’t face reality.
  20. Just keeps getting better for the opposition. “Senior Tories have warned that their party will suffer dire electoral consequences under a Liz Truss premiership that fails to address the cost of living crisis” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/20/labour-surges-as-tory-fears-grow-over-trusss-tax-cut-agenda?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other #votetruss - the opposition’s choice.
  21. Yet more evidence on how this tory government has failed workers. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/aug/20/boris-johnson-way-to-work-jobs-scheme-failure?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other
