Darren's post13 hours agoThe ABU media, the Scouse pundits on SLY Sports and BT Sport and the idiots on Talkshite are all trying to stoke up the pressure on our great club. They have been waiting for so long 28 years in fact to really stick the boot in. But after all the glorious years of trophies under Sir Alex even after the great mans retirement they still couldn't quite go to town on us because while other clubs like Liverpool and Spurs remained trophless, we were still picking up the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League... Even though we finished 2nd last season on 81 points and ahead of their media darlings Klopps Liverpool and Poch's Spurs we lost the Cup Final... So even before a ball was kicked this season they were already twisting the knife into Jose at last and mocking our great club... Debate shows, Radio phone ins, Scouse vermin TV pundits and the scum media are all wading in like they haven't been able to for the last 28 years... Why because we have many players who went deep in to the recent world cup who have come back into the team without a proper pre season and we have had a poor start... Well for all the Jose out brigade and scum media already dancing in the street after just 3 games because we have 3 points out of the opening 9 available ... let me just put your street parties on hold... We all know that at the start of our first Premier Title season we lost 2-1 at Sheffield United and followed it with a 3-0 home defeat to Everton and a 1-1 home draw with Ipswich... We had 1 point out of 9... Oh yes but that was 1992 it's different now... Okay I'll take you back to our glorious Premier League and Champions League double season 2007/08... We started the season with a 0-0 home draw with Reading, another 1-1 draw with Portsmouth away and then a 1-0 derby defeat away at City... 2 points out of the opening 9 available. The current bias coverage of what they are portraying as the biggest United crisis in years we have 3 points out of the opening 9..... The magnificent reaction of the Stretford End to Jose and the lads at full time, applauding them off left Jose visibly moved and emotional and the circling ABU media choking on their own vomit because they wanted nothing more than for us to boo the team off so that they could write about an even deeper crisis.... Our support is better than that, we are special and that moment of The Stretford End applauding Jose and the players in what was a dark moment will galvanise us.. It will make us stronger, Jose went straight into the press conference with renewed fire in his belly and at last gave the Press what they deserved, nothing. Jose and the boys would have gathered a lot of strength from the tremendous support given to them on Monday night and I will look forward to Jose and the boys regaining their confidence , giving us and our famous shirt everything and proving the doubters wrong.. Can you imagine how sweet it will be for us and how bitter it will be for them if we go on to lift silverware again this season... We must all stand behind them and give them our full unwavering support because they need us now more than ever.... Our club has been through far worse times than this in our history for the media scum to try and divide and break us now. So let's prove We'll never die and let's as Jimmy Murphy demanded proudly keep that red flag flying high........... From the cradle to the grave.....-

At the current rate, you might get caught up in the relegation battle ?
So be it, I only missed one game when we was in the 2nd Division I am a real fan who supports us win lose or draw not one of the tossers who are not asking for selfies with opposition players ?

Maybe the ones who have lost their lives on this island said the same thing.
It's like any place you can visit they all have risks just don't put yourself at risk and maybe you will have great memories.

really nev? the bar has dropped a hell of a long way since ferguson then.
First half yes we are where we are, at least we had a go.
Yes the bar is lower from the fergie era.

Happy the way we played should have at least scored one in the first half, 2nd half once they scored game over.
Spurs have some great players and well done deserved their win.

Both absolutely bang on the money, Woodward and the Glazers are our main problems not José, When we was winning trophy after trophy under the Glazers the Glazers out campaign faded and the leaches was let to happily use United at their will, The vast amounts of money taken out by them and not one cent of their money put back in is coming to roost.

it's a good point jellydog makes, pogba has lots of attributes but leadership has never really struck you as one. this united side lacks leaders, whereas great united sides of the past always had three or four natural captains in their ranks. it's hard to see who the actual leader of this team is. 'cos it doesn't look like the manager does it?
Exactly this, no leaders out on the pitch, I can see why Mourinio was looking at a commanding center back.
We are Team of individuals right now and I cannot see it improving.
It's going to be a rollercoaster ride this season for sure.

Laughable comment from someone whose club has never won a league title since the backpass rule was abolished....
And from a fan of a team who in the 70's and 80's bored everyone to death winning all those titles, some of the old commentary from Liverpool games back then could send anyone to sleep.
Now suddenly they have a manager who has got them playing good football and trophies don't count no more ?

And he comes back from a brilliant world cup finals performance on a high, and his manager, rather than congratulate him uses it as a platform to club his performances at club level.
Thats piss poor man management at any level of sport, let alone at elite level. Of course Pogba's going to think he's an absolute c*ck.

He did right after the world cup win ?

No smoke without fire. All United seems to do these days is muddy themselves in rifts and divisions within the ranks. It's great as the key to success is harmony and there is no harmony at United from the board to the manager to the players there are divisions and problems and that impacts any organisation and prevents goals from being achieved.
Long may it last.
Yes really looks like no harmony in the squad in training today ?

So the boss comes out and confirms exactly what I stated, There is no rift between them and he is very pleased with Pogba especially after coming back after the world cup and only train for 3 days and makes himself available, And I must had a excellent game.

My take is the Abu nation is trying to drive a rift between Pogba and Mourinio as they are running scared we are back ? ⚽?

Would like to see Shaw nail that spot anyway.
Thought that Darmian was on his way and that we had signed a new RB?
Rather than cherry pick one sentence quote the lot rather than what suits an opinion.
Well in my local newspaper that was the only sentence!! All the same my opinion of Maureen won't change as he is all over the place most of the time and about as positive as a dead battery...…...and it is reflected in the negative style of play; sadly!
We have signed Dalot a very promising right fullback, But he is injured right now.

Reasons behind why you didn't sign xyz
Man Utd: Why did they not sign anyone and is there trouble ahead for Jose Mourinho?
https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45133827
Bits that caught my eye in particular:
"Speculation surrounding a move for Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld rumbled on for much of the summer.
It turned out to be unfounded. United never made a bid for the 29-year-old Belgian.
As one club source said: "We ended up in a situation where if we had done a deal, we would have been swapping our fifth best central defender for another fifth best central defender."
Under the circumstances, United concluded there was no point."
And
"The one conversation between Woodward and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy this summer centred around the availability of Martial and Juan Mata. In both instances, Levy was told no." SPURS INTERESTED IN MATA
Come on mate the real reason was the Glazers new boat.

He has already said he is not coming to us and he prefers Real Barca or PSG, yes he rates himself that highly, I think he is average at the best.

I have a Honda Super Cub 110i (2018). Total piece of junk, quite slow, no storage space, shockingly bad brakes (drumbrakes front and back), but it looks great, small/flickable, and fantastic fuel economy (60km per liter).
I would probably go for the Yamaha Aerox 155, basically Yamaha's response to the PCX. Overall it's a bit smaller, has ABS, looks better (IMO) and 10-20k cheaper.
Yamaha already has a response to the PCX the Nmax.
