  1. My Thai brother in law was a "qualified certified" Electrician employed by the Electric company of Thailand........he was electrocuted, and died fixing a problem on an electric post !!!

Nothing wrong with Ford's easy to work on, parts not overly expensive, and twice i have been smashed into by Thai driver's driving Toyota's, Isuzu's , both sustained serious damage, but my old Ford Ranger 2002 had little damage.. Never had a problem finding a garage to work on it ( in East Pattaya)..

Good luck with that ..i have learned so much about the workings of the hearing system since my problem started 3 years ago, small hairs in the eustachian tubes that carry sound to the cochlear have died in my case & cannot be reversed, loss of hearing can also interfere with your balance too, so make sure u get it sorted
  7. When i first met my (Thai) Mrs.. she worked in a Provincial City Hall, she wore a uniform most days with Medals & those Parachute Wings attached, when i questioned her about them, she said its part of the uniform, we buy the Medals etc.. at the local Market, maybe this bloke did the same lol

I have a similar problem that also occured overnight, but with both ears, .. the high pitched ringing is Tinnitus which i have too, but i seem to have it under control now ...with constant Vestibular Exercises i have seen Specialists in the UK & here at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital ENT Dept.. they have Two specialists that come from Bangkok one is an elderly lady Professor 70 + who comes twice a week, the other is a lady in her 40's who seems to come when she has time, both of them have confirmed my hearing days are over 95%,.. having had multiple hearing and balance tests which are not cheap of course.....I'm sure u will find a wider range of ENT doctors at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok

Your fault for stopping (lol) reminds me of an accident i was involved in......While driving my pick up a Thai driver smashed into the rear of my pick up, he had no insurance 75,000b damage to my vehicle, police and my insurance were called ... the police blamed me for stopping too quick, in an emergency braking situation, and insurance agreed with them <deleted>..
  11. Yes i agree too many dogs let loose. but second biggest danger to life & limb must be 99% of Thai drivers
  12. Should have sent him to re take his driving test, if ever he has ever taken one, along with an eye test, he obviously does'nt see too well

  15. I recently posted a Registered letter containing my soon to expire UK Driving Licence, an A4 piece of paper, & a folded envelope, cost was exactly 300b.. or 95b if unregistered the girl said... Thai address on the back, plus a phone number was needed !!..this was done at one of these small sub post offices, i not sure if its cheaper going to the main post office I tracked it, within 2 days it was at the Airport, 15 days later still at Bangkok Airport, i got in touch with" contact us" Thai Postal Services, and within 48 hours it had arrived in the uk,

  17. He's a foreigner he's in Thailand.... that in my experiences makes him in the wrong...
  18. Knowing this bloke all foreigners are discouraged going to Thailand, does'nt have to be a reason
  19. AS already mentioned, Bumrungrad Hospital ,they l have many Vascular doctors with many years experience ( I questioned them), unlike Pattaya where there is just on,, with very minimal experience
