Everyone and his uncle have seen the way this Thai government has treated it own citizens recently, and you're asking them to think about being generous to ex pats here?........ no chance, they could'nt careless . its all about them ONLY

My Mrs. was a Thai government employee when i first met her, she wore a uniform with a string of medals, i did ask what did you do to earn those medals, ok i had to make it easier, and ask, where did you get those medals .. In the market was her reply, i went to look, and sure enough a market stall full of Ribbons, including the G.S.M i earned plus cross rifles & Parachute wings that they all seem to wear here

Teenagers who live close to my home who have been arrested many times for stealing bikes told a police man who lives in our village they dont like Honda PCX'S because they're too heavy to lift onto a pickup ...thats the way they steal the bikes , load them onto a pickup and drive away seems to be less risky than playing with the ignition

My (Thai) wife tells me the car is far more important than the house, which is why i see expensive cars outside cheaper houses, the car being the status symbol, its just a shame they dont know how to handle any car on the road
