I agree but the kinds of people that are letting this slide are the ones actually running the show. Thailand is still at least a generation away from growing up and coming down on this behaviour. It may not be what people want, but at least custodial sentences being meted out is a step in the right direction.

This is not a bad thing. Thailand is already too busy and fewer coming in will make it easier on the infrastructure. The people that will really feel the dip most will be the airlines, Chinese businesses, rich hoteliers and the supercilious TAT. Surely nobody cares about either of these. The real benefit will be for other tourists and the natives and residents not involved with tourism. Yay.

I get the annoyance, when warranted, but perhaps because your posts are contentious tripe? The sad emojis are useful when one couldn’t be bothered to respond, but I agree it can be annoying when you think you’ve made a OBVIOUS lighthearted comment and you get the donkeys jumping all over it. Also be aware that the boomers don’t do well with emojis, messaging, emails etc. 😂 You have to make allowances for that.

Nothing is when it’s heated to the nth degree. Pretty sure we didn’t evolve with a wok full of heavy hot oils and fats though. Possibly big reason why cancer is so prevalent. Whatever. Must be a typo. It might start to rain more in some areas but the actual rainy season is generally later in the year.
