  1. Lol I thought you said no more flaming? The I am going to be good lasted for what 5 mins, don't worry if the accident you saw has affected you personally, it will pass and back on the bike in what a couple of days!! I heard so many people say over the years "I am a changed man now". I bet you will be back to your boasting and using previous posts plus being way to personal very quickly, oh you are already, shish some people!!!!

Yea right, do you boast about being a drunk driver to your neighbour? A changed man who now wants to make a difference, start by being a decent chap who never resorts to getting personal, name calling etc etc. I doubt you have or will ever convince anyone of anything, no one takes notice of a confessed drunk driver!!

Countdown to thread being closed. 10 9 8 7 and so on, lol

  2. Lol so you refuse to answer, as expected!! For me discussion closed!! Practice what you preach mate.....Im 35 and Im not trying to provoke, remember I was the OP and you responded...have a think about that....if I didnt provoke why are you still here typing? Your feathers are ruffled because you are wrong. Anyways the main point of the OP is....I would like to hear about anyone who saw the accident. Obviously you didnt Kenny, why dont you try starting an interesting post about your day today?

He he. I might just do that( I do want to find tidley winks people, know any mate? I should go but it's just so captivating!! No I am going now, enough is enough or is it lol. Night night.

  3. and your still discussing this Kenny, your a self confessed drunk driving lead foot.

Stop it you are winding me up so much, lol how old are you? You type as if you are a teenager!! You try to provoke but fail!! Anyway sweet dreams matey hope they are not nightmares!!

  4. Considering the op was posted in the last couple of hours its not doing too bad....better than most of your ops, like the one about getting a group to play golf together at some shytehouse public golf course, I fail to see what your problem is...a guy died today on the Chao Fa East Road, questions should be asked...what happened? is it a bad road? will it happen again? what were the contributing factors? It was a fine day with no rain on a clear straight road, on a public holiday when no alcohol is sold (except in Rawaii obviously), have a heart mate....if it was a Falang you might be more sympathetic...but what I saw today was horrific in my eyes

Alcohol was available in many places mate!! Referring to previous posts again that is very childish and boring!! No one is interested in discussing the gore you want discussed!! Many many people die on the roads here every day, nothing changes so what do you want to be done? Maybe you should try to change things lets start by deporting all the drunk driving falang's!!

  5. No I do not want to be loved, I am not insecure, like many others I do not tollerte boasters of any kind, many many peo

    Le drive at etc. etc.

You need a breathalyzer attached to your keyboard.

And a breathalyzer on his bike, also a speedometer would be a good idea, he is too quick for me smile.png

Lol so you refuse to answer, as expected!! For me discussion closed!!

  6. OP, why do you want to discuss a road accident just because there was claret every where. ?sad.png

Its a forum mate, discussing current issues is kind of the idea isnt it? What caused the accident, how to prevent it happening again..sharing information....kinda what the whole idea of Thai visa is? Am I wrong?

I know what a forum is and what it is designed to do, how many people have replied to your op? I think you just want someone to post "yea I saw loads of claret" again the question, what would your opinion be of this terrible accident if it comes to light the driver was drunk?

  7. obviously not...but most thais are refraining...your obviously holding up the Falang drinkers of Rawaii flag

Lol. You never answer a question asked of you always skirt round, why did you feel the need to discuss such a terrible accident? I never felt the need to discuss the many fatal accidents I have attended, being a bystander is different I suppose. Horses for courses I say!!

  8. Lol you are saying it is not possible to obtain alcohol? Do you think it is possible people might have alcohol at home? Do you think it is possible that people might have stocked up with alcohol previous to this very holy day? Who is it wearing rose colorured blinkers? You are a funny geezer!! There is still drink available at any Mom & Pop store!! I bought beer today!!

  10. your drunk...i didnt even read past the first sentence.....if your drunk you really shouldnt be drunk typing, The post is about a poor unfortunate man that died today....your using it as a personal attack on me....have some sympathy for the family. Also the point of the post is to find out what happened...my neighbour saw it also...we discussed it, possibly he was run over and he ended at the back of an 18 wheeler....very grousome

Accidents are terrible, we all hope it won't happen to us, I don't see and personnel attacks directed at you other than retaliation for remarks you have made, please correct me if I am incorrect!! What would your opinion be of this accident if it comes to light the driver was drunk?

  11. sorry, Im going to change my mind....you drive around with only a couple of beers and a coke in your belly (still drink driving)...then you get around on your 250cc bike...previously you had a 1000cc and you sold it because you were opening it up too much right?

That sounds very sensible to me Snamos what do you think?

  12. So Kenny doing 200kph is acceptable if you have been trained? I havent seen any defensive driving schools in Phuket....have a look at some of Nicky Handlebars Youtube footage and come back to the forum and let us know what you think, as for being Pomstralian you sent us to paradise (asia) and you stayed in that shytehole, as for being a decent bloke you just want to be loved on the forum...maybe a bit of insecurity....now back to the topic, I was horrified by what I saw and I was wondering if anyone else saw it or it was reported....it was just north of the temple on Chao Fa East. Its the worst I have seen....Hua Hin accident was a close second.....Im not going to get into a conversation with you about drink driving Kenny, it gets too flamey, its not the object of my post. But according to your previous posts you never drink and drive or speed, power to you.

England is a shytehole as you say but it is my shytehole, I have heard from quite a few Australians that Aistralia is also a shytehole!! No I do not want to be loved, I am not insecure, like many others I do not tollerte boasters of any kind, many many peo

Le drive at and over 200kph I am not and have never been one of them, this is a lawless country where you can do and get away with virtually anything, you have to accept what goes on and live your life, I have max 2 small bottles then drive, I speed all the time along with every other driver in his country!! Try not to refer to previous posts and stop from becoming personnel I just hate people who resort to personnel attacks, it's not cricket!!

  13. I think speed was a factor here Kenny as it was a Thai bloke pole-axed into the back of a truck, I noticed you havent voiced your opinion in the forum regarding the high performance vehicles flying around the island. I'm smirking here at your public apology to the admins, perhaps its the Aussie in me that would prevent me from doing that

Well actually you are a pomstralian!! If people want to speed around the Island in powerful cars that's up to them, let's just hope they don't kill anyone!! Yes speed does kill especially when a vehicle is being driven by someone who has never been trained to drive correctly!!

Oh I apologized because I am a decent chap who realized the post in question was out of order!!

  15. thanks for response kawa......

i have talked my wife into spending this evening in the small hotel / rooms that are by the lake, so tonight and 2moro i am going fishing!! fingers crossed

can you tell me whereabouts on the lake your mate was fishing who caught all those carp?? what a great day he had!!

i have been told by a guy who used to be a guide there, that near to the restaurant is a good place to fish for the carp.....

Nice meeting you and your wife at Cha Am, people who tell you where a good spot to fish is had a good day or days, that does not mean it will always be a good spot to fish!! Best choose your own place to fish then you can not be disappointed by advice from others, Russel had his Carp in the same spot as myself and John were fishing all week, not sure if he had them all in one day though, I should hopefully be going back to Cha Am the last week of August, determined to catch the monster!!

  16. Unfortunately you can not say I want to catch a carp otherwise I will not go fishing!! All you can do is try to avoid the mass of Sawai and Mekong by fishing in close, best bait is bread on the bottom, float fishing, free lining and legering all work on there day, you hooked one so you did something right, a friend caught carp of 120lb, 100lb, 68lb, 62lb recently legering, maybe 6 to 8 meters out, if you want to catch a certain species you can blank often so it is just a matter of perserverence I am afraid!! Been here a week and only 2 small Siamese 25lb and 17lb, John next to me caught one of 66lb but did foul hook it, still they all count!! Also I believe you need a very bright hot sunny day to improve your chances greatly, last day today so not looking good, might have to resort to Mr Mekong just to get some big Fish action!!

I was here a few weeks ago and had one of 60lb caught legering with lumb and bread, this was the same time as my friend caught the big carp as mentioned!!

Pacu have been a menace if you fish to far out, lost 4 sets of tackle because of these feckers grrrrr !!

  17. We must assume all the people that have a problem at immigration are disliked by the immigration officers!!

You can assume what you like. The guy I had trouble with is like that with everyone and he was moved off the extensions desk to the front desk. I get on quite well with the extension officers and I think that's why they act friendly and ask for lunch money. Never asked for anything at the front desk with notification/extension (other than the fee). Always asked for 500 baht for Residence Certificate which I only offer 100 baht and tell then there is no charge.

Explain why some have a big problem whereas others do not? There must be a reason!!

  18. What somehow bewilders me is that so many people have heard of this problem, but not in a single one says it happened to him/her. I can confess that in about 17 years of dealing with the immigration office in Phuket I have never been asked for tea money or whatever the OP is writing about. And yes, my visa has been transferred to a new passport a few years ago, smoothly in a few minutes and for free.

Lucky you. I state here and now that I have been asked numerous times for tea money over the 16 years I have dealt with Phuket Immigration. The first time I was granted the one year extension I was asked for a lot of thousands to get my passport back, I showed the officer the 500 baht receipt (was 500 back then) and he flung my passport at me in a rage. He refused to process my application the next year. Each year they ask me or usually my wife (who has to accompany me) for 'lunch money' in the 500 baht range. I always try to politely ignore the requests, but my wife is pushed into a contribution.

We must assume all the people that have a problem at immigration are disliked by the immigration officers!!
