    I rarely go out, I mainly sit in the house watching tv or on the laptop or doing hobbies, I like a drink now and then - I am not harrowed ! People who like their - or their families - own company is not a reason to blame a suicide on !

    According to a police interview with his girlfriend, the man attempted to ask her if he could go outside to hangout with his friends, but she declined. Angered, the man walked to the balcony of his second-floor room and jumped to the ground below, sustaining injuries. What a wuss !

    I imagine that most of us here - well me anyway - did not go out drinking and partying to 4 am as they were sensible with the money that has allowed them to retire here in Thailand ! This is aimed at those who never want to own a house, have a good pension, a house and retire early !

    Probably too nosey, but how on earth can you have future with a Thai g/f when you're living at home with mum and dad , hardly bodes well if you ever want to move her to the UK. Might find immigration more interested that she has a reason for return - ie her work.

    Never found an indian that does not smell of spice in close quarters - I really do not like Indian food, smell makes me feel sick - plain and simple. I have nothing against Indian people, I just do not like the lingering spice smell, same reason I would never eat at an Indian restaurant. It's the spice - not the person. Same as I would never stay in a hotel full of ganga smokers - that smell makes me feel ill too.

    Wish they would name these places so we could know to avoid them. Cannot think of a worse experience for a holiday than spending it in a hotel full of Indians.
