There will be little point in any discussion if the court does does not find for Trump. The presidency of the US will be finished along with America. Biden will be removed from the ballot in every republican state. The US will divide into two countries. The normal people and the left, socialist states of America. Nobody decent would ever run for president for either side, knowing one false move would be life in prison. If the left win the next election, I can safely predict they will change the elections so much that there will never be another republican president - hence the splitting of the US. Like most of these other daft prosecution they will end in disaster - just look at the mess big fani is in with her corrupt department

When to renew UK passport.
RichardColeman replied to phetphet's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
I am finding it necessary to renew my passport about 4 years early, simply due to Thai immigration deciding to stamp as much room in the passport as they possibly can with visa extensions ! I was recently quoted 6 weeks by a Pattaya company, so for me will be get the yearly extension or 90 days stamp and get the company to do it for me - should be back well within the allotted time -
Thick haze shrouds Bangkok and vicinity this morning
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
This year is going to be awful - fully expect water rationing after songkran - water seems to be off in our Pattaya estate every other day now already -
I will defend Trump on this. NO president should be prosecuted for what they have done in office UNLESS it is a criminal act. Trump has 100% right to claim the election result was in doubt, he has the right to get his people to check it - the prosecution against him has not given any evidence about how that check can be done without being accused of election interference. It is the presidents role to ensure an election is held and completed correctly. Querying an election and talking to people is NOT criminal. The left is now trying to say it would give Trump the right to get the DOJ or FBI to shoot and kill the opposition. Which is complete lefty nonsense. If Trump took a gun and shot someone (or ordered a hit) he would rightfully be impeached, arrested and put away for life. It is amazing to me the total and deliberate ignorance of people that cannot see the difference between the rights of a president in office and criminal acts in office. I may not agree with what a president does, but I cannot ask for him be arrested for it, do something criminal then I would 100% agree with it - democrat OR republican ! WARNING : Should Trump NOT have immunity , then Obama is about to get arrested for murdering Americans if the republicans get in as he ordered a strike that killed an American The supreme court will vote 9-0 for Trump - if you wish to come back and argue that they are Trump cult followers than be my guess. Though in modern America they would claim it was a black racist witch hunt

Video: Is there any hope for Thai education?
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News

Trump wins Iowa caucuses, cementing frontrunner status in 2024 race
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in World News
I would have to say that the Iowa populace have more active brain cells than BIden - Biden cannot find his way of a stage, he'll have to be led like a donkey to vote ! Cannot wait to see the excuse the democrats will make for him not debating Trump prior to the elections. -

Dear God, talk about delusional. Move to where ? Any state that is not democrat blue - democrat states are going to be high tax - just look at the ridiculous laws coming in in California where you will be punished for selling your house !! LOL. You want to lose your money - go ahead move there, all the blue states are losing populace - surely that must give even the deluded a clue ! -
In the larger picture, I booked last week a 2 day return trip to the UK - direct. Now bordering on £900 - or say £3,500 for a family of 4. It was about £500 a few years ago. Flights are killing the tourist industry - and Thai airways greed as they are now the most expensive it appears ! Want tourism ?Attack the airlines

Way I see it is that income will only be taxable if 'earned' and untaxed abroad or paid by state untaxed and forwarded by the company or state through a bank transfer. I think this is justifiable and fair . I know many will say I am wrong, but I do not think Thailand will get away with taxing people's money TWICE. The whole thing is ridiculous until further clarified. I also believe it will fall apart on the first legal challenge by a foreigher or a Thai I am not seeing anything from the poster of this thread that deals with savings transfers - which is NOT income - merely a transfer form bank to bank. I send to Thailand a mix of income AND savings - this is not therefore all income Seriously ? I am not aware of anyone being given a formal request in writing to file a tax return other than net speculation. If you can show me evidence of foreigners being given written information on this directly I will agree with you
-
I am still totally confused by this nonsense - I send money from my UK account that is savings. I cannot see how Thailand is going to see what is genuine savings as opposed to income. I would totally support tax on foreign income paid direct to Thailand by either a pension or a work company as you need to pay tax somewhere.

Man Dies from Stab Wound in Patong after Alleged Karaoke Fight
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Exactly why my Thai daughter will never be allowed to marry a Thai man - never seem to grow up and her life would be in danger in my opinion -
Probably as much chance of Thai Airways dropping their prices as of a freebie from a destitute bar girl with 3 kids, a sick buffalo and a desire for the latest i-phone

Colorado Supreme Court kicks Trump off ballot
RichardColeman replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Seriously , spouting that is just fear mongering. 1 Died of a heart attack, 1 crushed by fellow rioters, 1 rioter shot by a policeman, 1 unknown death, and 1 policemen that cause of death was debateable. The crowd was not shooting politicians, or burning in the building down - even the police showed them round the building There was supposedly at least 400% more people killed in the BLM riots during police building attacks, looting, burning building , police assualts, etc - who is being prosecuted for that ? Oh that's right - nobody. I would say that the BLM riots were far more insurrectionalist than Jan 6th -
Colorado Supreme Court kicks Trump off ballot
RichardColeman replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
1. Are you seriously suggesting that the current polls showing a large swing for Trump is now due to people becoming cult members and lunatics ? And not just normal people fed up with 'Bidenonmic' failures and border invasions ? 2. Hopefully the NATIONAL supreme court - not the Colorado democrat state supreme court - will man up and shove the decision right down Colorado's Either way, 2024 is sure going to be a fun year in USA politics for an outsider - like me ! -
Colorado Supreme Court kicks Trump off ballot
RichardColeman replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Well, he'll certainly win the Florida primary being the only one on the ballot for the supposedly democratic democrats
