Investigated that but it's a very old unit.
Found some cheap second hand units on ebay so might buy and swap out.
In the interim I could do with accessing WhatsApp web..

As I can't see the buttons to press to unlock the, apparently, still functioning device does anyone know of any way I can easily access the stored information?
Is there a way of accessing WhatsApp web, usually accessed by using the linked devices procedure so that I a can access my contacts?
I've ordered a new phone but delivery isn't until Monday.

Went yesterday to Samsung shop at Big C downstairs.
Mrs decided to go for the A53 for Bt13,000. Happy Mrs....for now!
Everyone's input much appreciated.

Pretty much agree with that analysis.
Guaranteed that all three; A33, A53 and A73 will have a vastly superior picture quality than her 5 year old J7 Prime.
It's simply a matter of deciding whether or not we feel it's worth paying whichever price differential.

Good call. Just compared specs and you're pretty much right.
Definitely worthy of consideration.

Thanks for the input guys.
I'm liking the A53 5G but will take at look at A73 and consider whether or not it's worth paying the extra Bt.

Yep. Looks like another decent option to consider.

Mrs just glared at me over the table when I mentioned the A12. ????

Not to hijack but what is a decent phone brand and model for a much lower budget? Say 5k baht , this is for sis in law.
Please start your own thread.

Thanks.
I'll use that as a search starting point.
Probably go down to Big C later and take a look

Looking to buy 'er indoors a new phone just because she wants one.
She's been hapily using her J7 Prime bought 5/6 years ago, I think.
She doesn't need top of the range so initial budget circa. Bt15,000 but flexible.
Any suggestions for Samsung would be welcome.

Well, my DIY deterrent appears to be working a treat.
On two separate occasions I watched as a pigeon landed on their favourite rafter. The first touched down and immediately aborted.
The second landed and stumbled twice, catching it's feet in the slightly raised mesh as it attempted to walk a couple of steps, then sodded off. Result.
Watched this morning as another flying rat landed on the mesh. It stood there for a minute presumably sussing out the mesh and spikes, realised it couldn't perch so also sodded off.
Most satisfying to watch.

Thought I'd try a DIY pigeon spike deterrent.
Bt39 for a square metre of mesh and Bt19 for some long cable ties.
Installed onto their favourite rafter and not a splash of crappo to be seen on the previously cleaned floor below as yet.
The real test will be during the day tomorrow.

Absolutely agree.

@hotandstickyYou reds
Having done a bit more googling I've come to the same conclusion.
I'll initially try netting across that front rafter, that's their primary perching location, and see what happens.

Need to install measures to prevent pigeons perching and crapping on our property.
Anyone have experince of using netting or spikes. Perhaps suggest other methods also where to purchase in Phuket.
