  1. I know Pres Trump gets blamed for every minor setback in our daily lives, but how does he get to be mentioned in a thread about Thai driving licences?
  2. I loved the time I spent in Australia working on a two year contract, but I did pick up on two things. Most Aussies knew nothing about cricket and never stopped whinging.
  3. Went downhill food wise after Covid in my opinion, but still good location for taking visitors who want to see Walking Street. Easy parking in the big temple at the crossroads and only a short walk to the venue. Some seafood places on WS itself.
  4. This wrecker will be banned by every opera company in the country if they have any sense. Who'd want to risk him doing this again at one of their performances, people would soon stop attending. Maybe there's an opera company in Gaza that would accept him, although I suspect that there they don't have much time for western opera singers.
  5. At home, a pair of boxer shorts. Trips out, shirt with collar, shorts, socks and trainers. I always wear socks and trainers over sandals in case I have to walk any distance ie if the car breaks down or can't find a baht bus.
  6. Your pic there looks like a great disincentive to illegal immigration, unlike the UK who roll out the red carpet to illegals. That guy moving here will be ok until they parachute 500 Afghans into his Cotswolds village.
  7. We have enough immigrant troublemakers in the UK, why would we want to take this despicable object.
  8. I lived in France for over two years and found their women to be the ugliest, worst dressed women I've ever come across. In my time there I was involved with a couple of women and neither was French. They just didn't stir anything in me. That's why French men go mad when English or other western women visit there. However, each to his own.
  9. A lot of the patriots on here have already served their country on active duty, keeping it free to produce the gobby lefty posters on here who verbally support their homelands being invaded.
  10. What that article fails to mention is that the protest was peaceful until the police bussed in a load of Antifas along with their pre-printed signs and their shouting to hopefully goad the local people into violence. The police in full riot gear added to the provocation. Although the crowd of locals were mainly peaceful, a few hotheads took up the challenge, which was all the mainstream media needed to brand the local citizens as the "baddies". As a great believer in leaving well enough alone, I for the life of me can't figure out the obsession with successive governments with mass immigration, especially illegal. Can't see it ending well.
  11. My online 90 day before last rejected my application for some strange reason. My mail in application I'm still waiting for its return, even though I sent it by EMS. I ended up having to visit Jomtien Immigration in person. Expecting something similar last time, I was surprised when my online application was accepted. My latest one is due on 23rd, fingers crossed for that one.
  12. It amazes me how AN manages to get news that no other organisation on the planet seems to be privy to.
  13. The first "If you don't like it here you should go back to your home country" thread of the day. Didn't take long. A forum's a good place to sound off about things you don't like, it's also more interesting for other users than reading about how nice people have been to you. Everyone in the world complains, I don't care who they are. Gandhi was always complaining about the Brits. I bet even Mother Theresa had a good old whinge at times. YOU even complained in your original post about people who complain on here. Are you thinking about heading back home?
  14. I have nothing but loathing for these creatures. Honour is the last thing that comes to mind when I think of them.
  15. They look ridiculous to me as well as being downright dangerous. I would have thought it contravened the rules of the highway to have zebra crossings anything but black and white. The clue is in "Zebra"! Regardless of my political leanings, there is no way, in the name of personal safety, that I would ever use one of them. Anyone that does is risking life and limb.
  16. You may as well make him responsible for this as you Libs blame him for everything else....except all the good things of course which you always fail to mention, or attribute it to Sleepy Joe.
  17. They changed Makro months ago I still struggle to find my way around. They do it so that you see extra things you fancy while you're looking for your usual items. They don't want you walking quickly to your usual shelves.
  18. Not in the UK or any western country that I've lived in. Maybe it does these days with all the incomers.
  19. Strange then how they're mainly Pakistani Mulsims, you can't dispute this. See the Casey report. This isn't just normal paedophilia, it's mass grooming on a huge scale which is only done by one group of men.
  20. This Turmp Dreangemetn thing is getting ridiculous. According to you lefties, Trump's now responsible for selling monitor lizards in Thailand. Well, you blame him for everything else, why not this too.
  21. Despite regaining control of your border, rounding up and deporting illegal migrant gangbangers, taking on and winning against activist judges, seeing through the BBB etc, the US Dems still don't have a good word to say about Trump. They'd rather see the country go to hell in a handcart than for him to be successful. Cheeze, if Starmer did the same in the UK I'd love the guy and shout his praises from the rooftops. Your Democrats and their supporters are well and truly warped. I'd swap you PM Starmer for Pres Trump in a heartbeat.
  22. The moral to the story is: if you don't want to become an inmate of "Alligator Alcatraz", immigrate the legal way.
  23. You didn't mention the Biden/Harris open border policy which let millions of illegals in in the first place. Whether with more or less of the FBI, at least Trump is trying to get rid of and protect against them. I'd exchange a mushroom cloud over NY City for losing some of the FBI to other tasks anytime, so would any sane person. You Democommies are really grasping at straws.
  24. Utter garbage! It still means that when I go out early morning to drive into Pattaya to do my shopping, I then have to make a separate trip after 11am to buy my booze supplies as the local shops don't stock my brands of whisky. I've read various government explanations, but I still can't see the sense in being barred from buying alcohol pre 11am and between 2 and 5pm. After living here for 18 years I've gotten used to it, but it's still a pain in the asre.
