Howdy Just did my 1st Covid Ext this week--on wed....same forms as a "regular" ext and the covid form which is basically a paper with a check box saying so(basic) copy of PP--TM30--dep card--stamp +1900 bt ----same as before +covid page As some have noted I got the 14 days until Feb 2 and then go back and ask for 45 days more-which makes no sense to me as its packer there and seems to be making more work for them to do.....smh The girl said just bring the PP....no other fees or paperwork needed----will see what happens then

Was thinking of driving my old honda dream 100cc to PAI...anyone done this with this size bike? Is 100 enough?.......as i dont want to use a rental--rather be with my "girl".....

When my LL took my PP to Immig for TM30 he returned it with a white strip of paper attached as TM30--much like the departure small ticket they staple in your PP..but a bit longer strip of paper im going in this week for my 1st covid ext----already got my reg ext

agreed sure beats a burma border run or even worse--a laos trip

I got mine from my apt guy--I got back in nov and went back to my old apt--my landlord said he needed my PP for Immig---as he has never asked before--(covid) i was like <deleted>? gave it to him and he came back with a paper saying immig confirmed my address and take it with me for my extension.. so ask the person who manages where u stay--seems its their job to get you one--even though i dont like giving anyone my PP.....just another day in the always changing rules that we know as thai Immig

I asked to do it last week when i did my PP transfer--the girl said if I did it then the stamp would be from that day----i thought to myself--she is wrong as Ive done exts before the exp date..... planning on doing it on the 20th..my original stamp exp date--though as noted my new PP oddly now says jan 30....

Yep and I was there the other week for the new PP transfer stamp--3rd PP and they seem to have a "new" policy..ugh..I had to copy EVERY page of my old PP!!..never did that with #2......anyway So Yep i came in nov 19th 2021 visa ex...did the 30 ext in CNX--send old pp to bkk--got new one after 2-3 weeks --did transfer stamp to new PP...odd my old PP expired jan 25th 2022 and when they did the transfer the new stamp said JAN 30????...but Im playing it safe and going in on 20th as the original stamp said---not sure why the transfer stamp jumped to Jab 30 2022....and the covid is set to exp 25th was thinking how packed it is in CNX Immig daily and how that 1900 must add up..cha --ching!!!!!!

Agreed i always go into a thai office expecting the worst and hope for the best I even have one nice shirt to wear--long pants--speak polite--etc...play the game check there are no holidays--have all my papers ready and try to be a "quality tourist" ????
