  1. Been drinking Yorkshire Tea (bags) for yonks, always good. Ordered the draw string ones last month. Tasteless. No comparison to the full size bags. Ordered the Gold draw string, marginally better. Just does not taste anywhere near the same as the normal size bags. Got 100 of the blighters to get through though.

  6. When I got up this morning, I went outside and noticed a really foul smell. At first, I blamed the dog, but it was far worse than dog poop. Then I found this. It's used in Thai soup & Chinese medicine, but does anyone know the Thai name of it? Phallus indusiatus - Wikipedia https://share.google/yN1MMKukE9eVtnXcb
  7. Two people were taken to hospital after a United Express flight made an emergency landing in Austin, Texas. The aircraft, travelling from Houston, ran into severe turbulence that caused it to drop more than 4,000 feet within a single minute. Passengers described chaos in the cabin, with one person hitting the ceiling, others injured, and belongings thrown around. Oxygen masks fell from their compartments as the aircraft shook violently about an hour and a half into the journey. Following the sudden plunge, the crew diverted to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The jet descended more than 25,000 feet in six minutes before landing safely, where medical teams met the injured passengers. Adapted From: Express.co.uk https://share.google/N0
  8. Angela Rayner has admitted underpaying stamp duty on her £800,000 Hove flat after relying on faulty legal advice, She has referred herself to the government’s ethics adviser. The deputy prime minister now faces a potential bill of up to £40,000 and intense scrutiny over her property dealings, leaving her political future uncertain. Keir Starmer has defended Rayner, calling her decision to seek an inquiry the “right thing to do” and praising her for lifting a court order to disclose details about a family trust linked to her disabled son. Critics, however, accuse her of hypocrisy given her past calls for wealth and property taxes, and have demanded her resignation. The dispute centres on whether her Ashton-under-Lyne family home, held in trust, meant the Hove flat should have been taxed as a second property. Rayner insists the mistake was unintentional and is working with HMRC to settle the bill. The outcome of the ethics review will determine whether she can survive the political storm.
