  1. "He said the high number of people gathering at Rajdamnoen is a significant expression of Thai society who want to see a change.

"It's a pity that we do not see how the PM and the government will respond to the call. They just repeatedly say 'please sit and talk'," Abhisit said."

How about when 100K reds were camped at Phan Fa? What was that an expression of? & what did you do? shut down their media & send the troops in!

The main difference being the REtarD rioters in 2010 were being horribly violent and doing all kinds of bad things. Also, they were trying to out the Democrats who were actually trying to run the country unlike the current regime who are trying to help big brother maniac rather than do anything actually useful, they have had 2.5 years and repeatedly disappointed, they are terrible and ruining the country's economy ! Apples and oranges, you can't compare. Try seeing through the Red Shirt brainwashing to what is really going on....

The main difference between the reds and the new yellow mob of 2013 is the credibility of an election victory and the absence of a deal struck in the military barracks. One calling for democratic elections while the other hand flowers to the military and chant for a coup. Violence erupted in 2010 AFTER AV sent the troops in, 10/4/10. This lot would turn violent if the government were stupid enough to repeat AV's heavy handed tactics.

I'm sure you must have worked as a speaking clock for most of your life.

You go on and on, year after year, with the same old same old.

We are talking about there here and now on the YS administration that has been massively dishonest to the people.

Do you seriously think there would be these protests if the PTP had just governed the country pampering to the few and lying to the many?

  2. What is more democratic than an elected government?

"What is more Democratic, than an elected government"?

Answer.......a non elected Controller,ex Prime Minister, running a Government, from a Foreign Country, who has been convicted and sentenced,of many, frauds and abuse of power, and manipulating, the people by proxy of Family ownership, and currently has no courage (Guts) and no intention,of facing his accusers,(after six years). Having appointed his sister, who (Thaksin) calls the Prime Minister, his "Clone" and my "Caddie"

    So ask me another!

so the Amart would wish you to believe... in fact the populace of Thailand voted in this government and now a deposed Ex Dep PM wishes to 'take it over' by force and 'sit-ins' because he doesn't like the peoples decision

    You're missing the point.

.... and now a deposed Ex Dep PM wishes to 'take it over'

No - the fugitive Ex PM needs to hand it back to democracy

  3. Look at it from the bright side. The South is quiet. No bombings, no soldiers murdered, no teachers and children beheaded. All the scum have been sent to Bangkok by the Democrat Party. Foreign journalists are attacked like in 2010 accused by Democrat congressmen of being red shirt supporters and three ministeries are ransacked.

Anyone wants more proof that yellow shirts are undemocratic and narcissists?

Look at it on the bright side. No front page space for insurgents.

Now please tell me how many yellow shirts you can see?

And then list the thousands of everyday groups from society that are there

If your cornflakes smell of urine, it was another group that is responsible

  4. How about you call an election and see what the masses say!

Then we have a problem. Because they will be reelected. As usual...

And you probably read that for Suthep new elections are "not enough". They just want tension to rise.

    Now you're being obtuse.

I very much doubt that this rabble will be reelected because:

The people have seen the subterfuge of the amnesty bill

They have seen the lying and cheating of the Senate bill

They have seen the gargantuan losses of the rice scheme

They have seen the massive nepotism of the PTP club

They have seen the humungous loan bill for an unspecified list of projects

They have had enough of one family putting itself above the masses

  5. What's the plan if they do get the government to step down?

Exactly. Even if you hate the redshirts you have to admit that their goal in 2010 was an election. That's the last thing Suthep wants because he knows they would lose again. He is angling for another coup, either judicial or military.

The red shirts goal was to overthrow a democratically elected government.

Well that also appears to be the aim of this set of protesters as well.

Bear in mind that the Abhsit administration was able to serve out its term.

The current government should also be afforded this luxury.

I really wish that people who post "facts" on here would do the research.

At best you look ill-informed and at worst positively cycloptic

  6. Actually Thaksin has been unusually quiet. No doubt he is preening himself for an emotional plea to his ardent followers.he had better hurry up as they appear to be slowly evaporating.

His tadpole is talking for him
