if you don't latch a bonnet properly this would never happen . Open the bonnet on any car from the inside of the vehicle Go outside and try and pull the bonnet up without finding the metal bonnet latch in the gap between grill and bonnet. Impossible ! It's basic safety The only vehicle that you might be able to open would be one of those cra99y Chinese ev vehi..... oh wait that was one of them sorry.

I have not looked at the price in Thailand but they have the Raptor Diesel version .
-
You always try to turn a topic into a byd topic. I have been in one from Chiang Rai to Phitsanulok It's damn quick but I would never buy one. Give me a nice v8 any day Something that you can drive and feel part of. Never felt nice on the corners .and the lack of any feeling or sound. Like a quick milk float. Open your own thread about your love of byd seals . Oh wait you have done 100 times Leave this for fuel burning proper cars not the EV <deleted> I would prefer to take the train.

My Nephew bought a Honda wave and had it took off him after about 6 months and then a few days later came back with another new bike, That also was repossessed , Problem is everyone seems to be doing the same thing and the economy surely can't keep going on like this especially with cars . -

Now this made me laugh sorry Ev guys -
So i am looking at getting a new or used car or even Ford Raptor What would you buy ideally around 2mb maximum Please do not say a byd or other electric car, i know they are quick but there’s no comparison with a light-weight, nimble sports-car powered by a high-revving gas powered engine. There’s a special connection between a driver and a high-strung sports-car that you will NEVER get with an electric car. That said, most people are not drivers… they’re commuters… in which case, an electric car is perfect.

The more i see the Raptor the more i like it The only reason i am waiting is i would prefer the Toyota v6 pick up that i am hoping will come out end of 2025 I know you can get quicker byd electric cars and they are very quick but i really enjoy driving a vehicle and hearing it If i had to drive electric cars i might as well just get a taxi

Is that the Diesel version?
-
That is a bit extreme Just give me a free raptor i don't need the money
-
That must have been good. Speed thrills have the added scare factor on big bikes here with the drivers pulling out in front of you. I love to blast off road on mx bikes here where only I am to blame if I come off.

The new raptor? or the old slow one? Good points though about baja racing but still would be fun . I used to race motorbikes but don't want to go fast here Not the way people drive here and look at you and still pull out in front of you i don't trust them. Quick car would be good but crazy prices

Yes i think the older ones are bullet proof i do like those
-
If you kept it for 7 years its doing well
-
Ah yes Fourth you did at least get that bit right. As you say reliability is a concern hence frequent changing of the brand of your choice maybe? Is there such thing as a Toyota fanboy? Don't get me wrong i would love to buy a Ford Raptor and if i was not in the middle of a house build i probably would have bought one but i would always be having that little worry that everyone has seen with the reliability issues. I will be buying one in a year or so but if a Toyota arrives with a decent engine then that will be the one i get.

I bought a Vigo brand new 4x4 3.0 back in 2007 Sold it in 2016 then bought a 1 year old Revo and it still drives as it should. I had to replace the battery twice in 8 years and put new brake pads in. They might not have all the modern bs on them but i see most people are trying to disable all the lane watch/speed alert/bs that comes with newer models
